@leanvlogs I get that. But, sometimes it's good to go beyond what we normally like. It's cool to say that something isn't for you, but three minutes isn't exactly giving it a fair shake. We do have a large number of other lectures. Look at our 'Science Series' playlist for the more recent ones or do a Google search for 'jlab science series video archive' (no quotes) for the complete list. The older ones are VHS converts, so the video quality is a bit sketchy.
Thank you for your videos. I'd wish this one had better audio, though. Having to divert brain power to understanding acoustically what the speaker's saying makes following the lecture much more tiring than necessary, especially for those who, like me, don't speak English as a first language. I've discovered your channel only today and don't know yet whether you've already improved upon this in more recent recordings, but maybe you could use the actual mike audio in the future.
@paperclipgmx Looks like the jury is still out on this one. "Probably the safest answer is that viruses have both living and nonliving characteristics."
@JeffersonLab yes I know... Actually, thats because it is not a topic of my interest. For example, if it would be about astronomy, physics, or idk, any other topic of my interest I would watch it. Not going so far, Zeitgeist is a good example of an "informative" film that I watched complete like 3 times to understand it well (since it was not in my language at that time). keep uploading! :)
I'm a medical student and this is great. This coincides with my Comm Med elective I'm working on. Thanks for the awesome videos guys!
Brilliant woman. She's certainly left a mark, which most of us don't.
You should find that the audio in the more recent ones is improved. We're also working on adding captioning.

Fascinating. Thank you.

@leanvlogs Your loss...
Your loss.
Too long. I got bored at 3:00. I don't watch or read long informative stuff. I'm a typical 21th century guy.
wooot? haha
no, seriously :(
