I understand! No judgment here! My favorite Godzilla (nostalgia wise) is the 1968-1971 suit where he kinda looks like a muppet! But I also love the wobbly jowled 1964, and the big frog faced 1962! The charm is strong with these designs.
I know they're doing Godzilla vs Mothra, but I'd personally love Terror of Mechagodzilla and Ebirah, Horror of the Deep sets. Manda, Varan, Kumonga, and Kamacuras would be great additions too.
The good thing about these figures (compared to Xplus, Spiral, and Prime 1) is that not only are they MUCH cheaper, but also mass produced. Which means you can often find them on sale! I've seen these sets go for as low as $50. That's almost $5 a figure.
@@KingBanditt I'm SURE Mezco will get around to it! The sets they have produced so far include THIS two part set, 1971's Godzilla vs Hedorah, (which you can also check out on my channel.) and 1974's Godzilla vs MechagodziIla set; which includes Godzilla, MechagodziIla, and King Caesar. (Video coming soon!) Seems like a 1973 Godzilla vs Megalon set would cure your Gigan cravings!
Hopefully! Btw I already saw your other review and I’m glad you’re doing one on mechagodzilla because they are genuinely the best figure reviews I’ve seen is ages
@@KingBandittThank you so much for saying so. I appreciate the feedback. I try to pour the same amount of time and care into the toy reviews as I do the expensive statue reviews.
Slight error on Ghidorah's beams, the official name is "Gravity Beams" lol. But I'm not mad though, how tall are these figures? King Ghidorah looks awesome.
You'd imagine something called Gravity Beams would have some sort of effect on Gravity. Would have made Ghidorah much more formidable enemy if when hit by his lighting, Godzilla became weightless and drifted above the ground. The height of the figures in this set varies. Mostly between 5-6 inches with a few taller and shorter.
@BatChainPuller I see, I might could invest on these. I got a bootleg SH Monsterarts Showa King Ghidorah and it seems too delicate to put in a stop motion video, having a sturdy Ghidorah that's not so delicate would be nice.
@@fatangrygeek5746 This Ghidorah doesn't articulate too much if you're looking for one for stop motion. But the price on these can't be beat. I've seen the sets as low as $50. That's pretty good "this day in age" for a whole set. My first ever Godzilla was $2 in a clearance bin. I still have him.
@@BatChainPullerI want all the sets but I dunno if I can but my birthday is comin soon so ye I think I can get round 1 and round 2 Keep up the good work bro❤
@@marcelovega3163 I'm rooting for you getting the whole set for your birthday! Let us know how it works out! And thanks for the encouragement! I had to start almost from scratch on the next video because of some editing/computer/driver shenanigans. Very demoralizing. But I'm back in the saddle.
@@Tohoproducers I noticed! I kinda made a big deal about it in the video. Little issues like that keep me from enjoying the entire experience of the set to its fullest potential. Annoying. But I guess it could have been worse. I recently unboxed the latest Mezco Godzilla boxed set and found another quality issue. I haven't had the opportunity to edit it all together yet. It's been a crazy couple months.
i think it's cool how they are giving some obscure and forgotten monsters love (gorosaurus and baragon), although i think they could have been these 5-packs instead of 4-packs, one having manda and another varan
what kind of articulation are you expecting from a series called 5 points? articulation is overrated. all it does is make the price ridiculous. SH Monsterarts has become a total joke for what you get for the extreme price. would you rather pay 100+ for one figure? or 80 for 4. SHMA doesnt even bother to give accessories anymore with their extremely overpriced mid quality figures
@@djangofett4879 I've always been more attracted to the high quality of a screen accurate maquette style statue. Articulation is cool and all, but until they perfect the concept of rubber/silicone skin over a sturdy posable armature; I'm an Xplus, Prime 1, and Spiral guy. I do love the SHMA GMK, and NECAs 1962 though.
That’s awesome, you may be mad at me but Minilla is my favorite.

Awesome video, love how you showed the movie clips for comparison.
Thanks! It's the ultimate test to not only see if the "details" are faithful, but also the "charm" of the original inspiration for the toy/model.
i hope they make Varan, Manda, and Kumonga.
Amen! It's not a complete set without those guys.
@@BatChainPuller They should also make Kong, Mechani Kong, Ebirah, Gigan, Megalon, the praying mantises from SOG, and the condor from Ebirah

Another great video.
They should make Varan, kumonga, manda, and fire dragon.
Yes they should! Otherwise this set should just be called "Destroy Some Monsters."
I mean technically Manda wasn’t in the final battle neither was varan
Amazing I will totally get these both sets for my eleventh birthday! THANKS FOR THE HELP AND AMAZING CONTENT
Plus u used the instructions of how to do plug the ghidorah wings, and tails
Nice
I wanted these for my eleventh birthday but they didn’t have them in stock so now they have them and I will get them for Christmas!!

these is absolutely NO reason, for that anguirus head to work so perfectly on gorosaurus 😂😂
Great video. I hope they make SH monsterarts or Hiya figures of these monsters one day!
They are cool and pretty pricey. I think if you can get both they will look cool on display!

Theres someything wrong with your copy because it supposed to have one stand that has a hole on it so you can connect the stand to the flying stand

… YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS NICE VID
How did you not figure out how to stand up Rodan like I’m 10 and I figured it out😹😹😹
But what about Varan? 😔
no manda and kumonga nooo
Hey dude i really like this vidoe but im about to buy it can u tell how long some of the figures are
The tallest ones are likely 4 to 5 inches in height. Smaller than the Bandai's and the S.H. Monster Arts figures.
i think it's cool how they are giving some obscure and forgotten monsters love (gorosaurus and baragon), although i think they could have been these 5-packs instead of 4-packs, one having manda and another varan
Manda had more screen time than Baragon. Should have been replaced.
I have Round 1 but I don’t have Round 2
Pick it up! Also the Hedorah set!
I think imma get both
How do these scale compared to the Bandai vinyls?
About half the size.
@@BatChainPuller oh yikes 💀
@@JurassicBattleDroid Well maybe not half the size. You can kinda tell by the video how big they are compared to the size of my average sized hands.
varan ?
I guess there is room for a round 3 with Varan, Manda, Kumonga, and maybe the Moonlight SY-3 Starship and the Kilaak UFO?
Desearía que se pudieran conseguir en mercado libre argentina pipipi😢
😍最高です👏🥳
彼らがずっと前にこれらを出てきたらいいのにと思います!

The sculpt and painting is fantastic, but the articulation is mediocare.

I’d rather deal with sloppy poses than paying my college savings for a couple sh monsterart figures but that’s just me
It’s becuase theses are more like high quality PVC figures you would buy for your kid.
Aaaa te faltó a kumonga, varan, manda
