Uthra seems to be a very sensitive singer and I have observed that her renditions have been always bhAva laden - soulful, and at the same time not compromising on classicism . Even in her film songs, regardless of genre, she keeps the soul alive. During the 90s, I used to listen to a lot of Unnikrishnan Sir's albums, especially his collaborations with L. Krishnan, are very memorable and his voice invoked a very special and unique feeling in those times, like a fresh breath of air, and set him apart from voices heard commonly at that time. Daughter now is creating the same magic. Keep up the great work and tradition!!
