CORRECTION: In the original version of this video, I accused Ana of stalking Destiny based on allegations that he had made against her. After talking to Ana myself, she showed me evidence of Destiny privately admitting to her that the stalking allegations were a lie.
I would like to apologize to Ana for promoting this allegation of stalking from Destiny as if it was fact. I think this just goes to show ANOTHER example of the type of manipulation that Destiny and his community have been pushing against his victims.
However, I take full responsibility for making this mistake. It is incredibly important to me that I get all of the facts right, and I am deeply sorry to Ana if me supporting this allegation from Destiny brought her any more emotional distress.
After talking with Ana, we are on good terms with each other and she said that she was perfectly happy with me leaving this pinned comment and editing the stalking allegation out of the video

Thank you for making this video and compiling all of this in one place. Your point about being “old news” really struck me. For someone that works online, I am chronically out of the loop with internet drama. I really only ever knew destiny for clips where he buried Ben Shapiro or Candice Owens. Because of this I assumed he was a pretty good dude and I even went on his podcast back in the fall.
This has completely changed my perspective. Any one of the instances in this video are abhorrent on their own. Combined, they are absolutely reprehensible.
I will be contributing to the fundraisers you linked, in hopes that some of those wronged get the justice they deserve.
Thanks again for your hard work and from a personal place, for opening my eyes to this.

Serious questions: Why SHOULDN’T a victim of revenge porn pursue money for their suffering? Especially from the POS that ruined their life?
Ask yourself, in what other scenarios do we demand this degree of selflessness from victims? People understand financial compensation for all other types of damages, but sex crimes are the exception. Why?
I WISH after my r*pe I’d been able to afford some kind of comfort. Maybe fly to somewhere warm and sit by the ocean for a bit. Have one moment of peace and happiness in this shitty life. Instead, I worked two backbreaking jobs through my post-assault injuries and the following years of mental breakdown just to make rent. Couldn’t even afford more than a few therapy sessions. I did what these people want. I got justice. Cold comfort, let me tell you. That process was nearly as bad as the assault itself. My life is in ruins. I will never be the same and I have nothing.
Pxie, do not let anyone shame you out of asking for money. You’ll get nothing else.

So no, I don't think this is an actual concern. The bigger concern is public opinion, but even then usually the alleged abuser is the one with the platform, so again the cards are usually stacked against the accuser. I don't really follow internet drama much anymore, but from what I've seen nowadays people making false allegations are eventually exposed for doing so more often than not.

A man who has a lot of control over your body at the time choosing to completely disregard your consent is terrifying. If your consent matters so little about something as simple as a condom, its terrifying to imagine what would happen next if you try to intervene. I have to be really mindful navigating casual and intimate relationships, but before my diagnosis I had no idea that this was what was happening to me. It resulted in situations where I was harmed and in one situation the police were involved and very helpful and lovely to me. I just want to say this for anyone who was affected by destinys comments about women having a freeze response, this is a biological thing especially when it comes to trauma and is entirely valid. As scary as dissociation is, it's perfectly healthy and safe. If you feel numb, zoned out, or detached from reality do not worry and try non to panic it's a response to if lets say a tiger or bear was eating you, so you can detach from your situation. Your body is trying to help you not hurt you.

SO lets look at the intro
a bunch of out of context clips that are literally one liners where you're led to believe things by shaping the intro to be him lying about the things he says in which:
      1. Destiny constantly lies
      2. attacks people relentlesly (by showing a tweet from 2015, one of the most edgiest periods in internet history)
      3. him having secret recordings of people (which there's 0 proof of, even in this video)
      4. him not talking about everything and only putting a narrative ('ill talk about everything")
      5. him lying about not fucking lauren southern (what does this have anything to do with anything?)
      6. Acting like destiny is being a hypocrite with NFT's while he has a very nuanced position (doesnt peddle it like a thing that will go up in value, he literally said that that shit would become worthless and people should only buy it cause of the clip it resembled (his nfts were linked to populair clips on his channel)) his position is that hyping up crypto scams to your audience and enjoying profits from rugs is unethical, he never did that with his nft's and was very explicit with his intent and what would happend
      7. him saying the genocide stuff was him being hyperbole about lefties pushing the narrative onto him that supporting certain points of isreal just means he wants a genocide and palestians to leave, so he doubled down as to jokenly say well you just want to push this narrative on me i guess i just believe x and x then
      8. The grooming thing is just factual, sexting minors doesnt mean grooming, its wrong in every sense and pdflic, but grooming is explicitly warming them up to be your wife by talking them into it when they're young and trying to influence them into marrying you, thats not sexting, I dont know the context apart from that, but there's literally only factual things being said, sexting can be with a grooming intent but grooming isnt just sexting
      9. pulling the old rittenhouse mowing down dipsh*t protesters line, was about him not caring if people who are torching buildings at night getting shot by people trying to protect their property, which is a strong claim
      10. him saying k y s, out of context, dont know every clip tho so no clue what it even was about, which is a problem on it own
thats literally from the first 3 minutes

I’ve literally never heard of this guy until today (I’m not really online I guess). But as a survivor, it is so painful to hear the sh*t this guy’s said-and I’m not even halfway through this video. My negative and traumatizing experiences have made it really really hard to revoke consent and fight the “freeze response,” even in situations that started off as “consensual.” This response only re-traumatizes survivors, even with partners they feel they trust. I wanted so badly to end it but froze in the face of it. My brain and body shut down and I became a spectator of the situation. It sucks and hearing people reinforce such awful opinions about women’s experiences makes the guilt and self-blame so much worse. Makes it harder and harder to cope or to come forward.

Yea it’s so weird destiny and his ardent fan base seem to be so awakened on every topic except consent and sex and specifically women in a heterosexual sexual dynamic(I think his opinions on BLM was also a notable blemish as well).
I think it’s proof that hate can exist no matter how hard you try not to, maybe one day my former friend (just another left wing destiny fan) will see the error of his mysoginy and how blinded he is, but it seems in our cultural moment these individuals are giving into their rage and opting out of politics or even voting for the team who is weaponizing the rhetoric. It’s like the old ‘southern strategy’ has a modern equivalent, virgin single male. Virgin not being the status but that the rhetoric demonizes women so much that it will cause chronic sexlessness and unhealthy relationships, and single because, part of the rhetoric is to define yourself as hard to date. The propaganda is designed to come off smart and logical while ceding ever more ground to preconceptions which are hateful toward women, and so some people start with Shapiro some people start with destiny but they still end up enabling or supporting the policies that they would say they disagree with, because the group they hate the most is suffering, women who aren’t having sex with them.

I’m always conflicted about watching these videos. What does it bring me? On one hand it makes me feel sick to the bone. On the other there’s a kind of morbid curiosity, of schadenfreude to this.
And yet, it feels important. Important to show support how tiny it is, how performative it is, to someone doing the right thing exposing a horrible person.
Perhaps the one good thing though I get out of it, is the educative value. Your patient, endlessly prudent but thorough and unflinching approach, is inspiring. The arguments and logical fallacies you’re able to point out from this are things I hope to integrate in my own toolbox.

He tried the police and other methods to try and deal with it but no one could or wanted to do anything. To them, he was just whining about someone effectively denying him internet access. The reality was that this was his source of income and this kid was endangering his livelihood.
Whether Destiny actually was about to get tooled up and go after this kid only he knows (and I certainly don't condone such actions), but I can understand that he was at his whit's end and no one was apparently able or willing to help. If you guys really want to hurt Destiny even more, there's more shit that the public hasn't even payed attention to. Go look up how he goaded his depressed "best friend" at the time named Chris to commit sulclde. Steven had a friend named Chris who, in one of his darkest moments, reached out to Steven for emotional validation. You know what Steven's response was?
He told him to jump off a bridge. He called him a coward and a "faker" if he didn't commit. Now that man is dead. Destiny has actual, literal blood on his hands, and it's so sad that Chris is the biggest victim who nobody acknowledges.
If Destiny wants to be a "le epic sociopath", then everyone else should turn their backs on him. He is the last person on the planet who deserves ANY compassion or forgiveness.

    • @dahalofreeek
      @dahalofreeek 7 วันที่ผ่านมา +49

I didn't know all those details. When I heard Destiny tell the story, he said that Chris confided his suicidality with Destiny and asked Destiny what he would do in Chris' shoes. Destiny says he said something to the effect of "I would do it if I had no hope it would get better." Destiny has publicly expressed regret "I probably regret that I said that" for how he responded.
That story is a nightmare. I remember being shaken to my core, even hearing the lighter telling from Destiny himself. It makes his frequent use of insults along the lines of encouraging that sort of thing all the more disturbing. Those being his choice of insult would also lend a lot of credence to your telling of the tale. With no intention of trying to excuse his behavior, I wonder if this broke some fundamental parts of Destiny's emotional processing. If he starts feeling responsibility for the outcomes of his actions, he opens the floodgates of having to process that.
There's very little footage of Destiny getting sad emotional. He's almost always one to resort to anger. When Mrgirl was writing the big hit piece on him, Destiny talked about how it was likely that jokes he has made about Chris and Reckful would be brought up. His voice is breaking and he's on the verge of tears, but just for a second or two. Again, nothing excuses what he's done, but I can't imagine the burden of an experience like that.

I think the reason he likes women with BPD is because of how they make him feel. I am talking from experience here, a lot of people with BPD have very intense emotions and when we are with someone we are with them ALL the way. We are fully into them and we treat them like heroes. We are just very intense people and it can feel intoxicating to be with someone who wants you that much. But I think its weird for him being so unemotional and cold to even want to be with someone who's the exact opposite. So just my thought, either he likes them because he has low self esteem and having a woman that is so intensely into him makes him feel better, OR he likes being with someone he can emotionally bribe and bread crumb so he can feel powerful when women are begging him for attention and love while still getting that himself. I was with someone who was like that, he would be so cold and I wanted so badly to feel the love that I gave to him.

Some 15 years later and I was still experiencing PTSD on a regular basis. I finally decided to open up about it and tell my story on social media without outing the perpetrators. Since then the emotinal turmoil has finally lessened, when I find myself accidentally looking back on that experience it is like I have put up a wall between what happened to me and myself in the now. The understanding that I got from friends, family, and community members is now what I think of when my mind wanders there again. It is very important to normalize talking about our trauma. Former Destiny fan here. I will say this is some of the most fair responses I've seen to a person's allegations, ever. As much as I liked the dude's political analysis, the new allegations, unless somehow proven completely false (which i don't think will happen), are all I need to see to dip out entirely. Especially considering his response to the situation, which is nothing short of morally bankrupt. Very little accountability, after how many times he would harp on people for their own lack of accountability, is just disgusting to see, and really makes me question his morals beforehand, or whether his political analysis was just an obsession with consistency stemming from the lack of his own. I had always been apprehensive of his edgy side, but as a former edge boy myself, I didn't think to much of it; but the sharing of nudes without any appearance of remorse, joking about the matter, and demonstrating a lack of understanding to those who would not want to associate with him afterwards, makes it quite clear this dude has issues that he is completely unwilling to address, and deserves what is coming now. I hope the victims are able to find some justice in the matter, they deserve it, but honestly who knows if that will happen given how our legal system works.
