there is nothing wrong to have Absolute power being a Prime minister, when one becomes a chief Executive for 5 years his Designation demands to have absolute power. The whole problem arises from the fact when a Prime Minister comes to office for five years and he does not have the full authority.

So according to him.. he did not think isi as an institution was capable of handling the Afghanistan situation and a man was above the institution. He did so by awarding bajwa with an extension too. He can say what he wants but people should just see through his excuses for failing politically.
He was the Chief Executive so by authority, he has to direct foreign policy as a PM.

I didn't question his authority but his decision to give an extension. A man like Imran Khan could just have picked up a few books on Pakistan's 70 yr history before his premiership and drawn a simple conclusion that these extensions would be disasterous. It's nothing new, army's behaviors as an institution is there in the history and it was a politically dumb move to leave army be. Esp when Imran khans foreign policy revolves around reconcilation with Taliban and the army was in the middle of a six year operation against Taliban.

Secondly you gave example of your cricketing career that you strictly followed merit thats why you were successful. However, In politics and in power you appointed Usman buzdar. While announcing his appointment you mentioned that I am appointing a CM from a city where there is no light. (This can not be a merit to be CM). Later he failed miserably.

I have just said if according to Imran Khan he appoints the people in authority on merits then these people who have given authority or power in his regime do they have any merit to be given such authority except using derogatory and abusive language against the opponent. In this context it is also important to be noticed that in the election campaigning of 2018 General Election the PTI campaigned that they have a very good team of expert people to govern the country.
Apart from this it is not correct to say that merit is irrelevant for the party position.
