I feel like in my opinion, part of the reason why Izzy is getting so much screen time is because she is the first female green ranger. But that's just me speculating
To be fair I think most ranger colors have had a girl in them at least once. Pink: all of power rangers. Blue: mistick force and ninja storm . Yellow: most of the series with the exception of mistick force . Red: samurai. Green: dino fury. It really isn't that big of a deal

A few points that I forget to include in the final script: - The sound mixing and overall music continues to be excellent (Just listen to that teleport effect!). - Jane is also a fun character in her own right. - I’ll be trying to stream right here on YT again! This is my personal opinion but Megaforce is better than Dino Fury. I can rewatch Megaforce and enjoy the show and Megaforce got a lot of people back to Power Rangers. I dislike Zayto and the Green Ranger. I feel like the Blue and Pink ranger need more screen time and moments as I feel like the Blue and Pink Rangers dynamic is the only thing keeping me watching this season. Also I don't mind the skirt scene, it was just there so I didn't really care. Dino Fury is the weak link of the Dino Seasons so far, Dino Thunder and Dino Charge are a much better watch.
@@segaspice4062 Megaforce was a mess. I wanted to like the team...but they used a weak Sentai to begin with. I did not like the first season but preferred the second because of the use of Gokiger which Saban I think wanted to use really bad and not use as much of the pre Zyranger teams. Only nine minutes of unused teams was used. They tried to link the two but in the long run the only good thing would be the toy sales especially with the ranger keys.
Izzy doesn’t have to like skirts, there’s a time and a place and given Izzy is an athlete, skirts have no practical place in sports... at least as far as she’s concerned.
Damn right, Izzy doesn't need a skirt and she doesn't need to like them either. No ranger should have a skirt to be honest they are the least practical thing for fighting. Honestly the skirt rip scene might be one of my favorite scenes in all of power rangers.
@@sigmastylin8394 now that I think about it, I agree, thinking back to SPD (due to it being the only example for obvious reasons), even Syd didn’t have a skirt on her suit and she was the girly one of the team, but skirt or no, pink is a traditionally girly color, therefore a skirt wasn’t even necessary.

actually I saw 6 episodes of the source material (ryusoulger) and sadly there is almost no unmorphed fight.....so you know why we aren't getting any of those...

This is one of the seasons where I feel 2 people quickly overshadowed everyone else. Blue and Pink became background players and Black hasnt had anytime to shine. Hopefully Gold gets some spotlight and character focus episodes.
Maybe the gold ranger could have a problem with suiting up like a similar problem in Dino thunder with the white ranger but it got corrupted in a battle rather than modified from the start for story

Me not having cable makes it hard for me to watch this. And getting them on torrents is hard since it's not that a priority of a show. They usually come out later. Have to wait for Netflix to get the first 8 and a year later for the rest.
Ollie and Javi definitely could use more in the show. It'd be cool to have Javi have more stuff with his dad regarding his music. I'm enjoying dino fury so far and hope we get more good stuff in the future.
I agree. Javi needs more development. Also I find it a bit annoying that they made a deal about him following a passion of music in the first episode Javi appeared, but after that, they kind of tossed that aside. I'm not asking for for him to be blasting music for the entire season, but I would definitely like to see more of his passion for music here and there

im mentioned this off handedly before, but somethines the writes only have ideas for 4 but the sentai forces 5, if PR didnt have such a hang up around robots the soltuon could be to just make the 5th ranger a robot, but robots always have to be other, exceptions, quirly, can you imagine of one of the core rangers of a team was just a battledroid activiated when needed letting them focus the story on the other 4?
Ok here are my thought: 1. I like the setup of Zayto. He seems to be a great leader right off the bat but he still has to get used to this new world hes in. I think it's a great setup for a great character 2. Ollie is their. I'm hoping they play more off the idea that's hes the son of an Archeologist. Maybe they could have some plot were he gets his mom to go to a temple nearby to try and find one of the zords. Also have his arc be trying to understand Amelia's point of view and also imply that hes the smart one 3. Amelia's a fun character. My only problem is they essentially forget the fact shes a reporter for Buzzblast. Like what? They could have had an interesting dynamic between Jane and Amelia with Amelia wanting Buzzblast to appeal to more people and not just focusing on a bunch on trends and Jane ignoring her and then essentially trying to side line her with J-Borg with her being an Android and stuff. Also there is a slight parallel between Ollie and Jane with them both ignoring Amelia's perspective and thinking it's weird so they could have the whole Ollie arc idea to help boost confidence in Amelia and fight for new content for Buzzblast. I just realized this character has so much potential. Also if they do some time skip thing like they did in beast morphers have Amelia become the manager of Buzzblast. 4. Izzy is cool. I like they idea she's super focused on her athletic career not not only for herself but to live to her dad's expectations. Her focus episode had to be the worst episode we've had so far from Dino Fury. It isn't bad but it feels a bit sloppy and putting too much effort in getting the message. Also she felt a bit out of character in episode 6. She was spouting out memes and also mentioned her school life outside of sports. Although it is kind of weird it also is kinda interesting. I hope they expand on the idea shes the youngest of the team and also kind of the hippest. 5. I think Javi is a bit more characterized then how Brain said he was. He seems to have the same supportive feelings towards Izzy as her dad. Also I feel this character has a lot of potential as well. They mention in his introduction his dad doesn't approve of him pursuing his music career. I feel it might be because his dad is using authority to lecture his son instead of being supportive of his sons dreams. Also his pride in Izzy's athleticism could also make his dad feel ashamed about his son's dreams. And maybe his support for his sister is actually just him trying to cover up his own problems with his dad and insecurities about his life decisions. Maybe I'm getting two deep here but I feel it is the case. Also expand more on the fact hes also a Buzzblast reporter. Maybe we could have a nice work dynamic with Amelia and him outside of their Ranger dynamic 6. I think Void Knight is ok. I like the mystery surrounding him as who he is and why hes after the Sporix and all that stuff but he also comes off as a generic angry grumbly villian leading everyone kind of like Sledge but with more mystery behind him. 7. Mucus is definitely the best among the villians. I like how hes really playful and wants to play with the sproix he finds while also being somewhat sinister. And Boomtower is also good. He very much the opposite of Mucus. Loyal, stern, hands on, and a bit more evil than Mucus. I think there dynamic is going to be the highlight of the show. Also I like the characterization of the Sproix's it makes for some great dialogue

I was kinda confused whether she was a girl cause her Ryusoulger counterpart is Male and also her character is portrayed as immature and childish so the writers might have chosen a female voice actor to portray the young childish male mucus similarly to how Tara Strong a female portrayed Timmy Turner a ten your old male.
So far my favorite character is easily Izzy. She just brings a unique flavor to the show so far and gave a very very strong first impression. I also really like the fight scenes and the effects so far in this season. Really seems like hasbro took time with edits and the themes in the show. Even the small details like the light effects when they swing their swords it gives more life to their movements and attacks. The black and green ranger debut was one of the best looking debuts I have ever seen in all of power rangers seasons it was really well done in terms of choreography. I am really excited to see the gold ranger when ever that debut come. As for now I think the season has great potential.

The whole skirt controversy is not as deep as people think. It’s so that they can use the original Super Sentai footage where green didn’t wear a skirt (mostly cause Green was played by a male) This is solely to reuse footage. Not to start a movement or have a double meaning behind

Considering how both beast morphers and this season had androids being accepted in society, I have a strong theory that maybe, Hasbro might be building up for a adaptation of android ranger team , which would match perfectly with the plot of the current sentai team, Zenkaiger, in which most of the heroes are robots.
@@nightshroud9671 That would been awesome, although I would love even more if they made these adaptation take place in the same universe as Kamen Rider Dragon Knight, in my opinion a very underrated series and a very good adaptation of Kamen Rider Ryuki (I think is even superior as adaptation to the original).
@@alexandrefrauches132 Given how there was a adaption for Kamen Rider Black RX named Masked Rider(which also included the previous Showa Riders when adapting that movie) takes place in the same universe as Power Rangers(granted Masked Rider did horribly). Wonder how Hasbro handles Kamen Rider adaptions. If they do have it in the same universe as Power Rangers, they probably should keep it as Kamen Rider though instead of naming it Masked Rider. Would be cool if they can add in Kamen Rider Dragon Knight into that universe too, I think 4Kids did the adaption but since they went under, I am sure Hasbro can get the rights to KMDK there.
@@MikoKudou Kind...sort of... Bioman were actually people whose ancestors were exposed to a energy that allows the heroes to transform. Most of the cyborg stuff was connected to the villains and the heroes allies. Interesting fact: Originally Bioman was planned to be the first sentai to be adapt into Mighty Morphin Power Rangers alongside Jetman, however due to the sucess of the Jurassic Park franchise at the time, Saban decide to go with Zyuranger, who was a dinosaur theme sentai.
I've liked this season pretty well so far. Zayto - has been great. Very solid leader type but showing some weakness in the fish out of water side of things. Thankfully they haven't got wild with the men out of time stuff. Also plays off the others well. Mainly we have only seen this with Izzy and Amelia but i'm sure interactions with the others will happen too. Amelia - Has been hot and cold for me. I like most of the stuff with Ollie and her bit with Zayto was great. But her bit in ep 6 was pretty poor until the fight with boomtower. And while I like most of the banter with Ollie I fell he can go to far as there are pretty new at being friends and some of the sass can go a bit far for a new friendship. I would like like to see someone rein him in a little. Ollie - Really needs more focus. Mostly all he has right now is his sass and his 'fights' with Amelia. I would also love to see Ollie turn his sass power onto the monsters more. Izzy has been getting the best fight lines but I think Ollie should really get some too. Javi - If Ollie need more focus then Javi is me without my glasses. He's had a few good lines in his opening battle but Izzy really took the show there. Izzy - Great energy! Tessa has been killing it so far. The writing and Tessa's voice work for the fight senses have been great. Played off Zayto really well, and did a great job in all the Lily senses. Jane and J-borg - While I don't hate them like some, I think a over-the-top Jane would of done well with a 'straight man' personal assistant, trying to keep up with her. The villains have been great so far. Mucus has been the star for me. She's very clever and has some good jokes. Void Knight is very interesting and I can't wait to see were the story goes with him. BoomTower is fun but maybe a little too stupid. And the monsters of the week have been well done so far, fun and entertaining. The music and the fighting senses have really stepped it up this year. Izzy's and Javi's intro fight was great! One of the best fights in a long time.
I really liking Dino Fury thus far. I want to be cautious because there is still plenty of things that can go wrong, but I think Dino Fury has the potential to be one of the best entries in the franchise. I hope everything keeps geeting better and better
Feel like the season has been pretty solid so far. The characters are fun, and the villains are distinct. The music is 💯 Other little touches like the morph or the roll call feeling like an event again. One thing about Void Knight I like is, like you said, just a space hobo. He's not a super powerful main bad, and his motivations so far don't see to be general world conquest. He also participates in the plots of the day without needing to fight. It's what I liked about season 2 Evox. He seems to have a tech background and he is very strategic. Hope he fully sticks the landing.
shinkenger/samurai is the prototype (female red) and gokaiger/super megaforce established the the skirts in female ranger suits gimmick (most prevalent with blue/yellow ranger keys).
Personality, I found that moment funny because it felt like a fourth wall break. Acknowledging that some girl Rangers get skirts and some don't because of the limits given by the sentai. And got around it.
I'd say Dino Fury is pretty good. They just need to stop trying to be *woke* and "hip" , the whole skirt scene was grievously unnecessary. Female rangers without skirts have happened, you're not being woke or feminist by not having one. Plus the fact that magical suits created by primordial beings can be ripped off because "Skirts aren't my thing". But besides that since I guarantee it'll never be important, I like that DF is getting a lot of cringey jokes out of the way in early episodes and because of that- there's a good chance those jokes are one offs.
I love this series and will hate when it ends the characters carry the show the fights are second to none in this specific era and yeah it’s definitely a better take on dinosaurs then repeating what we’ve seen 3 times already also people read way too much Into the whole skirt thing you have to be an idiot to think that meant anything else than not liking an article of clothing the thoughts people had on that were just appalling and unnecessary oh how could I forget not needed the fandom being dumb aside I finally have a PR series I can’t wait to watch every weekend cause everything that came before it didn’t excite me whatsoever the only series that came before this that made me want to watch religiously were samurai and Dino charge other than those nothing after RPM excited me as much fricken love this series
Honestly, to me the whole skirt thing just comes off as finally giving us an explanation for why one girl on the team would have a skirt but not the other, something that bugged me for years before I learned about the sentai source material. Especially when characters like Trini and Maya arent any less traditionally feminine than Kimberly and Kendrix/Karone. Having a personal fashion preference that Izzy wanted to have her ranger form reflect is a decent reason in my book
For Winning Attitude I believe the lesson to be that not everything is about you. We understand that when Izzy finds out that Lily was helping someone far more in need than her at the moment as well as Izzy having to help that racer instead of going to win the race. I honestly think that was executed pretty well.

I was sorta hoping for Zyuohger, I thought at first the whole cube thing was dumb, but it actually grew on me. And I have the dvd for the entire series, so that's good. But, I read the other comments in this thread... yeah, I have heard about that, so I'm pretty interested on how their going to do that.

I appreciate the skirt scene. It’s like what they did with Vida, but more contained then Vida continuous complaining about pink. If every female ranger is skirt positive, then then every boy has to be Rocky. Idk. I hate skirts, so it’s so cool for me to see a female rider not wearing one. It’s something small, but sometimes small things add up
A female ranger took off a skirt to match Sentai footage and people think it's the apex of feminism, lol. If this was Kiramager then Izzy would have to wear a skirt and no one would question it, they don't care about "practical reasons" or female empowerment to be honest.
The skirt scene just felt to me as if the morphing grid made a mistake with Izzy. After all, prior Power Rangers seasons have had female characters who didn't have skirts before, yeah it is because their sentai counterparts were male anyways. But it felt more like the grid gave the female rangers more comfortable fighting without the skirts suits that lacked them, and with Izzy it mistook her for being comfortable fighting in a skirt.
I'm really liking dino fury so far but I do have to admit I'm hoping that they'll do more with Javi specifically. Like Javi I'm a musician so I'm hoping he can get some good writing, also this might just be my opinion but I think Chance Perez is my new top hottest power rangers actor so I'd just like to see more of him in general.
Can we just appreciate for a moment how awesome the zord fights are compared to other seasons? The fight coreograpfie and camera angles are incredible. The sentai really did a great job this time

I think it’s been thoroughly enjoyable. The dialogue and banter is actually hilarious and refreshing. Javi maybe the least defined character yet but his focus episode is coming soon so I’m not worried. The action/fight scenes are glorious and the music is exceptional. Love the villains and monsters as well. I thin the only problem I have that it’s very light on story so far but I don’t mind as we need time to flesh out the main cast before the story moves forward on a major way! Oh n that morphing sequence?!!!? AHHHHHH!
I just started watching this past Saturday, caught up to episode 6. I like what I see! Giving me Disney vibes which I think is the best of the Power Rangers era.
@@alexisisanarieka4311 I mean on a technical level from the actors. Disney era had the least trained cast for stunts and used more stunt doubles and CGI for civilian power fights. It hands down had the best trained/most experienced actors. OG Saban hired stunt doubles/performers as actors in a first role so they had cleaner fight shots. Neo saban was a mix of better actors and they had physical training, but not as extreme as before.
"And also, Javi is there!" - best. line. ever. Can't wait to see your full-season review. This is one fine season. Also, the background score is so damn good.
dino fury has some great episodes so far but here are the top 10 things I want to see in the future episodes 1 rooms between zayto and amellia 2 void knights past 3 prehistoric animal zords 4 more family members of all the rangers 5 sibling romance between izzy and javi 6 some evil zords 7 a new battelizer for zayto 8 different countries 9 an historical finale 10 a big team up with all the dino rangers but not tommy Oliver
I will say that this series so far isn't the worst that I've seen but my biggest complaint is the Green Ranger debut segment where she ripped her skirt (either symbolic of cultural defiance, or just bad writing) I'm not a huge fan of gender swapping but it's not bad either but the skirt segment was just bad and I'm not going to apologize anyone who wants to assume that I'm sexist
3 things that I hate so far with the show 1. The name of the green mushroom creature. Mucas. Yuck 🤮. Why’d you choose such a disgusting word for her. Literally using bodily fluid as a name for a character like that. Yeah that’s definitely not gross. Why not just go with something better like, Shroom? 2. J Borg. Oh god here we go again. Another pointless comedic character made only for stupid childish gags. What’s worse is that I’m not even against the idea of a character like her existing. A human-like robot who’s an assistant to a company boss? Fine. That’s not a bad choice. What makes her bad tho is that the writers decide to use her as a means of being nothing more than just another accident prone goofball. 3. Dialogue. Seriously. 28 seasons in, and somehow, we have seen this series take a nose dive when it comes to writing lines for characters. Recent episode about Amelia having “bad luck” had some piss dialogue. And, it was one of the most pointless filler episodes they’ve delivered. Just so stupid. But so far, I think Dino Fury is, ok. Ya know I feel like Beast Morphers kinda did better now that I think about it. Definitely looked forward to nearly every episode those seasons had to offer. Dino Fury is still treading on old Neo-Saban era ground, in terms of storytelling. Hopefully I’m wrong tho and this series does improve over time. Because I want to be hyped about whats coming.
Tbh the only thing i wanna talk about the Izzy's Skirt thing is that i think it would be really funny if her skirt always grew back each time she morphs and then she needs to tear off every time, she could even use it as an attack of sorts, yeeting her skirt onto the attacker's eyes
This season has so many opportunities to do more for the franchise, to tackle more mature themes again. Maybe finally have an LGBT character and have their storyline mean something.
Power Rangers Dino Fury Season 1 made the great start for 2021 and the only character that got my attention is Void Knight. Because he is a mystery since we don't know his true goal until later in the episodes that we all know learn why Void Knight wants the Sporix to revive the woman he loved. Then in episode 13 we're finally got to see Void Knight unmasked at last unfortunely in the rest Power Rangers Season 1 we still haven't learn more on Void Knight's backstory of who he is, were he got the armour, how did he know about the Sporix and who is the woman he's trying to revive. But I am hoping in the upcoming Power Rangers Dino Fury Season 2 in 2022 that we'll final learn about Void Knight's origin at last.
i just think it's funny that people are focusing on the skirt and not on the spear that she should have as she is clearly not a swords woman by using a revers grip and that the episode she was introduce in showed are with a spear and Zayto teaching her how to use it better and she had a amazing fight with it
I didn't like the Super Sentai this was based on and Dinofury itself isn't any better. I am sad and frustrated that they chose this over any of the other series. like Kyuranger. or ToQger. OR even Zyuohger I guess. oh well. If they do end up cutting ties with Super Sentai with a future series, i honestly look forward to seeing what comes of that.
It’s just the safest season I’ve seen yet. Any semblance of dark themes is pretty much gone, and the villains are really stupid. Void Knight won’t save this show when it comes to that.

I still feel like dino fury is missing something. I definitely think that void knight is not going to end up as the final big bad. As for characters, Zayto hasn't really taught the other rangers much about being a ranger, in other series there has been a mentor figure to help things along and I feel having the red ranger also being the mentor is a rare opportunity that is being missed. I'm still not a fan of the morphing sequence and saying everything they're doing. They easily could have pulled out their key for the camera, said their dinosaur and spun the helmet and begun the transformation. I also feel its a bit of a missed opportunity the helmet doesn't form over their head from the back like the morpher.

a tad off topic but It’s so funny when people complain about politics when almost all big media have major political implications. People love Persona 5 and the game involves reforming society itself which has political tones. Heck it kinda makes it interesting.
I'm glad I'm not the only one whose looking forward to Wyzul's debut, especially after being pleasantly suprised by how much of Kreon's personality made it into Mucus. I'm a little worried my expectations are a little too high, or even if he is similair, will the villains end up being too much fun? I am definitely looking forward to his obligatory musical number.

Weird question, but why does everyone love izzy?! I like her, but I don't love her. I honestly prefer javi over izzy. I actually like everyone else more then izzy. Not saying she's bad, she's really good. Also, zayto is my favorite, that's all.
To be fair, the impression I get from the Sporix beasts are more that they're threat comes from their numbers and industractability than individual strength. 'You can win the battle but never win the war' kind of thing that could wear you down. They might not go there but it'll be interesting if they explored it later on. The 'catch em all' aspect does allow for the villains to 'win' every so often without overthrowing the PR formula which is neat. I'm also intruiged by Void Knight. He's not the most threatening villain but he is very active, cunning and technologically competent, more so than usual. I think it's suitable for the first Big Bad (show) Ranger to grow stronger over the series in parallel to the Rangers, and I'd much rather see him get into the field by mid series rather than hang out on his throne till the finale. And his Grump vs Bubbly dynamic with Mucus is hilarious.
I like Dino Fury so far; for Hasbro's real first series, they're doing a pretty good job! I like the story so far, the characters are cool, the dialogue is actually funny and engaging, and the music is actually pretty unique... though I do wish the theme was better (yes, I know the reason for its short length). I personally like the handwaving of the skirt thing this series did; it's pretty cool, in my opinion My only real gripe, and this is very minor, is that parts of the show feel kind-of derivative from pevious seasons, particularly the aesthetics; like, the school is like Ninja Steel and the base is like Dino Charge with pieces of Beast Morphers... granted, it's not unbearable and I do like it a little (it's the best take on these elements, in my opinion), but I wish Dino Fury went a little further with crafting a unique visual identity in the Non-Sentai department
Can't believe you didn't talk about the Megazord fight in episode 6. They literally destroyed 5 building on accident and cooled it good luck xD. Also, Javi had I think 2 lines of dialogue in that episode lmao.
I feel like in my opinion, part of the reason why Izzy is getting so much screen time is because she is the first female green ranger. But that's just me speculating

This is my personal opinion but Megaforce is better than Dino Fury. I can rewatch Megaforce and enjoy the show and Megaforce got a lot of people back to Power Rangers. I dislike Zayto and the Green Ranger. I feel like the Blue and Pink ranger need more screen time and moments as I feel like the Blue and Pink Rangers dynamic is the only thing keeping me watching this season.
Also I don't mind the skirt scene, it was just there so I didn't really care. Dino Fury is the weak link of the Dino Seasons so far, Dino Thunder and Dino Charge are a much better watch.
@@segaspice4062 Megaforce was a mess. I wanted to like the team...but they used a weak Sentai to begin with. I did not like the first season but preferred the second because of the use of Gokiger which Saban I think wanted to use really bad and not use as much of the pre Zyranger teams. Only nine minutes of unused teams was used. They tried to link the two but in the long run the only good thing would be the toy sales especially with the ranger keys.
Izzy doesn’t have to like skirts, there’s a time and a place and given Izzy is an athlete, skirts have no practical place in sports... at least as far as she’s concerned.

This is one of the seasons where I feel 2 people quickly overshadowed everyone else. Blue and Pink became background players and Black hasnt had anytime to shine.
Hopefully Gold gets some spotlight and character focus episodes.
Maybe the gold ranger could have a problem with suiting up like a similar problem in Dino thunder with the white ranger but it got corrupted in a battle rather than modified from the start for story
Amelia and Ollie are great, but Zayto and Izzy have such a strong presence that does happen.

I love this season. Hasbro saved Power Rangers. Beast Morphers & Dino Fury are amazing while playing tribute to Power Rangers & Super Sentai of old.
Ollie and Javi definitely could use more in the show. It'd be cool to have Javi have more stuff with his dad regarding his music. I'm enjoying dino fury so far and hope we get more good stuff in the future.

im mentioned this off handedly before, but somethines the writes only have ideas for 4 but the sentai forces 5, if PR didnt have such a hang up around robots the soltuon could be to just make the 5th ranger a robot, but robots always have to be other, exceptions, quirly, can you imagine of one of the core rangers of a team was just a battledroid activiated when needed letting them focus the story on the other 4?
Ok here are my thought:
1. I like the setup of Zayto. He seems to be a great leader right off the bat but he still has to get used to this new world hes in. I think it's a great setup for a great character
2. Ollie is their. I'm hoping they play more off the idea that's hes the son of an Archeologist. Maybe they could have some plot were he gets his mom to go to a temple nearby to try and find one of the zords. Also have his arc be trying to understand Amelia's point of view and also imply that hes the smart one
3. Amelia's a fun character. My only problem is they essentially forget the fact shes a reporter for Buzzblast. Like what? They could have had an interesting dynamic between Jane and Amelia with Amelia wanting Buzzblast to appeal to more people and not just focusing on a bunch on trends and Jane ignoring her and then essentially trying to side line her with J-Borg with her being an Android and stuff. Also there is a slight parallel between Ollie and Jane with them both ignoring Amelia's perspective and thinking it's weird so they could have the whole Ollie arc idea to help boost confidence in Amelia and fight for new content for Buzzblast. I just realized this character has so much potential. Also if they do some time skip thing like they did in beast morphers have Amelia become the manager of Buzzblast.
4. Izzy is cool. I like they idea she's super focused on her athletic career not not only for herself but to live to her dad's expectations. Her focus episode had to be the worst episode we've had so far from Dino Fury. It isn't bad but it feels a bit sloppy and putting too much effort in getting the message. Also she felt a bit out of character in episode 6. She was spouting out memes and also mentioned her school life outside of sports. Although it is kind of weird it also is kinda interesting. I hope they expand on the idea shes the youngest of the team and also kind of the hippest.
5. I think Javi is a bit more characterized then how Brain said he was. He seems to have the same supportive feelings towards Izzy as her dad. Also I feel this character has a lot of potential as well. They mention in his introduction his dad doesn't approve of him pursuing his music career. I feel it might be because his dad is using authority to lecture his son instead of being supportive of his sons dreams. Also his pride in Izzy's athleticism could also make his dad feel ashamed about his son's dreams. And maybe his support for his sister is actually just him trying to cover up his own problems with his dad and insecurities about his life decisions. Maybe I'm getting two deep here but I feel it is the case. Also expand more on the fact hes also a Buzzblast reporter. Maybe we could have a nice work dynamic with Amelia and him outside of their Ranger dynamic
6. I think Void Knight is ok. I like the mystery surrounding him as who he is and why hes after the Sporix and all that stuff but he also comes off as a generic angry grumbly villian leading everyone kind of like Sledge but with more mystery behind him.
7. Mucus is definitely the best among the villians. I like how hes really playful and wants to play with the sproix he finds while also being somewhat sinister. And Boomtower is also good. He very much the opposite of Mucus. Loyal, stern, hands on, and a bit more evil than Mucus. I think there dynamic is going to be the highlight of the show. Also I like the characterization of the Sproix's it makes for some great dialogue

I was kinda confused whether she was a girl cause her Ryusoulger counterpart is Male and also her character is portrayed as immature and childish so the writers might have chosen a female voice actor to portray the young childish male mucus similarly to how Tara Strong a female portrayed Timmy Turner a ten your old male.
So far my favorite character is easily Izzy. She just brings a unique flavor to the show so far and gave a very very strong first impression. I also really like the fight scenes and the effects so far in this season. Really seems like hasbro took time with edits and the themes in the show. Even the small details like the light effects when they swing their swords it gives more life to their movements and attacks. The black and green ranger debut was one of the best looking debuts I have ever seen in all of power rangers seasons it was really well done in terms of choreography. I am really excited to see the gold ranger when ever that debut come. As for now I think the season has great potential.

Considering how both beast morphers and this season had androids being accepted in society, I have a strong theory that maybe, Hasbro might be building up for a adaptation of android ranger team , which would match perfectly with the plot of the current sentai team, Zenkaiger, in which most of the heroes are robots.
Would be cool if Hasbro also adapts Kamen Rider stuff too.
Kamen Rider Zero-One involves androids named Humagears there.

If they do have it in the same universe as Power Rangers, they probably should keep it as Kamen Rider though instead of naming it Masked Rider.

@@MikoKudou Kind...sort of... Bioman were actually people whose ancestors were exposed to a energy that allows the heroes to transform. Most of the cyborg stuff was connected to the villains and the heroes allies.
Interesting fact: Originally Bioman was planned to be the first sentai to be adapt into Mighty Morphin Power Rangers alongside Jetman, however due to the sucess of the Jurassic Park franchise at the time, Saban decide to go with Zyuranger, who was a dinosaur theme sentai.
I've liked this season pretty well so far.
Zayto - has been great. Very solid leader type but showing some weakness in the fish out of water side of things. Thankfully they haven't got wild with the men out of time stuff. Also plays off the others well. Mainly we have only seen this with Izzy and Amelia but i'm sure interactions with the others will happen too.
Amelia - Has been hot and cold for me. I like most of the stuff with Ollie and her bit with Zayto was great. But her bit in ep 6 was pretty poor until the fight with boomtower. And while I like most of the banter with Ollie I fell he can go to far as there are pretty new at being friends and some of the sass can go a bit far for a new friendship. I would like like to see someone rein him in a little.
Ollie - Really needs more focus. Mostly all he has right now is his sass and his 'fights' with Amelia. I would also love to see Ollie turn his sass power onto the monsters more. Izzy has been getting the best fight lines but I think Ollie should really get some too.
Javi - If Ollie need more focus then Javi is me without my glasses. He's had a few good lines in his opening battle but Izzy really took the show there.
Izzy - Great energy! Tessa has been killing it so far. The writing and Tessa's voice work for the fight senses have been great. Played off Zayto really well, and did a great job in all the Lily senses.
Jane and J-borg - While I don't hate them like some, I think a over-the-top Jane would of done well with a 'straight man' personal assistant, trying to keep up with her.
The villains have been great so far. Mucus has been the star for me. She's very clever and has some good jokes. Void Knight is very interesting and I can't wait to see were the story goes with him. BoomTower is fun but maybe a little too stupid. And the monsters of the week have been well done so far, fun and entertaining.
The music and the fighting senses have really stepped it up this year. Izzy's and Javi's intro fight was great! One of the best fights in a long time.
I really liking Dino Fury thus far. I want to be cautious because there is still plenty of things that can go wrong, but I think Dino Fury has the potential to be one of the best entries in the franchise. I hope everything keeps geeting better and better

One thing about Void Knight I like is, like you said, just a space hobo. He's not a super powerful main bad, and his motivations so far don't see to be general world conquest. He also participates in the plots of the day without needing to fight. It's what I liked about season 2 Evox. He seems to have a tech background and he is very strategic. Hope he fully sticks the landing.

I was more surprised that alterations to the suit were possible that was never established before
shinkenger/samurai is the prototype (female red) and gokaiger/super megaforce established the the skirts in female ranger suits gimmick (most prevalent with blue/yellow ranger keys).
Personality, I found that moment funny because it felt like a fourth wall break. Acknowledging that some girl Rangers get skirts and some don't because of the limits given by the sentai. And got around it.

I'd say Dino Fury is pretty good. They just need to stop trying to be *woke* and "hip" , the whole skirt scene was grievously unnecessary. Female rangers without skirts have happened, you're not being woke or feminist by not having one. Plus the fact that magical suits created by primordial beings can be ripped off because "Skirts aren't my thing".
But besides that since I guarantee it'll never be important, I like that DF is getting a lot of cringey jokes out of the way in early episodes and because of that- there's a good chance those jokes are one offs.

Honestly, to me the whole skirt thing just comes off as finally giving us an explanation for why one girl on the team would have a skirt but not the other, something that bugged me for years before I learned about the sentai source material. Especially when characters like Trini and Maya arent any less traditionally feminine than Kimberly and Kendrix/Karone. Having a personal fashion preference that Izzy wanted to have her ranger form reflect is a decent reason in my book
For Winning Attitude I believe the lesson to be that not everything is about you. We understand that when Izzy finds out that Lily was helping someone far more in need than her at the moment as well as Izzy having to help that racer instead of going to win the race. I honestly think that was executed pretty well.

A female ranger took off a skirt to match Sentai footage and people think it's the apex of feminism, lol. If this was Kiramager then Izzy would have to wear a skirt and no one would question it, they don't care about "practical reasons" or female empowerment to be honest.
The skirt scene just felt to me as if the morphing grid made a mistake with Izzy. After all, prior Power Rangers seasons have had female characters who didn't have skirts before, yeah it is because their sentai counterparts were male anyways. But it felt more like the grid gave the female rangers more comfortable fighting without the skirts suits that lacked them, and with Izzy it mistook her for being comfortable fighting in a skirt.
I'm really liking dino fury so far but I do have to admit I'm hoping that they'll do more with Javi specifically. Like Javi I'm a musician so I'm hoping he can get some good writing, also this might just be my opinion but I think Chance Perez is my new top hottest power rangers actor so I'd just like to see more of him in general.

I think it’s been thoroughly enjoyable. The dialogue and banter is actually hilarious and refreshing. Javi maybe the least defined character yet but his focus episode is coming soon so I’m not worried. The action/fight scenes are glorious and the music is exceptional. Love the villains and monsters as well. I thin the only problem I have that it’s very light on story so far but I don’t mind as we need time to flesh out the main cast before the story moves forward on a major way! Oh n that morphing sequence?!!!? AHHHHHH!

I just started watching this past Saturday, caught up to episode 6. I like what I see! Giving me Disney vibes which I think is the best of the Power Rangers era.

@@alexisisanarieka4311 I mean on a technical level from the actors. Disney era had the least trained cast for stunts and used more stunt doubles and CGI for civilian power fights. It hands down had the best trained/most experienced actors.
OG Saban hired stunt doubles/performers as actors in a first role so they had cleaner fight shots.
Neo saban was a mix of better actors and they had physical training, but not as extreme as before.
I saw eight episodes of Ryusoulger and stopped.
I saw eight episodes of Dino Fury and am waiting for more episodes.

I will say that this series so far isn't the worst that I've seen but my biggest complaint is the Green Ranger debut segment where she ripped her skirt (either symbolic of cultural defiance, or just bad writing) I'm not a huge fan of gender swapping but it's not bad either but the skirt segment was just bad and I'm not going to apologize anyone who wants to assume that I'm sexist
I honestly got a laugh out of them ripping off the skirt and am aware of why they had to do that (Sentai footage and all that jazz).
Yeah it's understandable plus it makes sense because Izzy is an athlete and is used to not wearing skirts

3 things that I hate so far with the show
1. The name of the green mushroom creature. Mucas. Yuck 🤮. Why’d you choose such a disgusting word for her. Literally using bodily fluid as a name for a character like that. Yeah that’s definitely not gross. Why not just go with something better like, Shroom?
2. J Borg. Oh god here we go again. Another pointless comedic character made only for stupid childish gags. What’s worse is that I’m not even against the idea of a character like her existing. A human-like robot who’s an assistant to a company boss? Fine. That’s not a bad choice. What makes her bad tho is that the writers decide to use her as a means of being nothing more than just another accident prone goofball.
3. Dialogue. Seriously. 28 seasons in, and somehow, we have seen this series take a nose dive when it comes to writing lines for characters. Recent episode about Amelia having “bad luck” had some piss dialogue. And, it was one of the most pointless filler episodes they’ve delivered. Just so stupid.
But so far, I think Dino Fury is, ok. Ya know I feel like Beast Morphers kinda did better now that I think about it. Definitely looked forward to nearly every episode those seasons had to offer. Dino Fury is still treading on old Neo-Saban era ground, in terms of storytelling. Hopefully I’m wrong tho and this series does improve over time. Because I want to be hyped about whats coming.
Shroom is slang for psilocybin or "magic" mushrooms. So naming the monster "Shroom" would not sit well for a kid's show. But I get your point.
Tbh the only thing i wanna talk about the Izzy's Skirt thing is that i think it would be really funny if her skirt always grew back each time she morphs and then she needs to tear off every time, she could even use it as an attack of sorts, yeeting her skirt onto the attacker's eyes

This season has so many opportunities to do more for the franchise, to tackle more mature themes again. Maybe finally have an LGBT character and have their storyline mean something.
Power Rangers Dino Fury Season 1 made the great start for 2021 and the only character that got my attention is Void Knight. Because he is a mystery since we don't know his true goal until later in the episodes that we all know learn why Void Knight wants the Sporix to revive the woman he loved. Then in episode 13 we're finally got to see Void Knight unmasked at last unfortunely in the rest Power Rangers Season 1 we still haven't learn more on Void Knight's backstory of who he is, were he got the armour, how did he know about the Sporix and who is the woman he's trying to revive. But I am hoping in the upcoming Power Rangers Dino Fury Season 2 in 2022 that we'll final learn about Void Knight's origin at last.

i just think it's funny that people are focusing on the skirt and not on the spear that she should have as she is clearly not a swords woman by using a revers grip and that the episode she was introduce in showed are with a spear and Zayto teaching her how to use it better and she had a amazing fight with it

I didn't like the Super Sentai this was based on and Dinofury itself isn't any better. I am sad and frustrated that they chose this over any of the other series. like Kyuranger. or ToQger. OR even Zyuohger I guess. oh well. If they do end up cutting ties with Super Sentai with a future series, i honestly look forward to seeing what comes of that.

It’s just the safest season I’ve seen yet. Any semblance of dark themes is pretty much gone, and the villains are really stupid. Void Knight won’t save this show when it comes to that.

I still feel like dino fury is missing something. I definitely think that void knight is not going to end up as the final big bad. As for characters, Zayto hasn't really taught the other rangers much about being a ranger, in other series there has been a mentor figure to help things along and I feel having the red ranger also being the mentor is a rare opportunity that is being missed. I'm still not a fan of the morphing sequence and saying everything they're doing. They easily could have pulled out their key for the camera, said their dinosaur and spun the helmet and begun the transformation. I also feel its a bit of a missed opportunity the helmet doesn't form over their head from the back like the morpher.
I think that skirt scene is hilarious. How did she even know you could just do that. Also does she have to do it every time?(I hope so) Battle damage never comes back ... RIP Thuy Trang

I’m pretty sure the people complaining about the skirt joke are the same ones who complain about the “politics” in the new Star Wars movies even though that series has always been political.
a tad off topic but It’s so funny when people complain about politics when almost all big media have major political implications. People love Persona 5 and the game involves reforming society itself which has political tones. Heck it kinda makes it interesting.
I'm glad I'm not the only one whose looking forward to Wyzul's debut, especially after being pleasantly suprised by how much of Kreon's personality made it into Mucus.

Weird question, but why does everyone love izzy?! I like her, but I don't love her. I honestly prefer javi over izzy. I actually like everyone else more then izzy. Not saying she's bad, she's really good. Also, zayto is my favorite, that's all.

To be fair, the impression I get from the Sporix beasts are more that they're threat comes from their numbers and industractability than individual strength. 'You can win the battle but never win the war' kind of thing that could wear you down. They might not go there but it'll be interesting if they explored it later on.
The 'catch em all' aspect does allow for the villains to 'win' every so often without overthrowing the PR formula which is neat.
I'm also intruiged by Void Knight. He's not the most threatening villain but he is very active, cunning and technologically competent, more so than usual. I think it's suitable for the first Big Bad (show) Ranger to grow stronger over the series in parallel to the Rangers, and I'd much rather see him get into the field by mid series rather than hang out on his throne till the finale.
And his Grump vs Bubbly dynamic with Mucus is hilarious.
Jordan Fite is also a famous Tik Toker. I can't wait to see him as the gold ranger. I love Dino Fury.

I like Dino Fury so far; for Hasbro's real first series, they're doing a pretty good job! I like the story so far, the characters are cool, the dialogue is actually funny and engaging, and the music is actually pretty unique... though I do wish the theme was better (yes, I know the reason for its short length). I personally like the handwaving of the skirt thing this series did; it's pretty cool, in my opinion
My only real gripe, and this is very minor, is that parts of the show feel kind-of derivative from pevious seasons, particularly the aesthetics; like, the school is like Ninja Steel and the base is like Dino Charge with pieces of Beast Morphers... granted, it's not unbearable and I do like it a little (it's the best take on these elements, in my opinion), but I wish Dino Fury went a little further with crafting a unique visual identity in the Non-Sentai department
Can't believe you didn't talk about the Megazord fight in episode 6. They literally destroyed 5 building on accident and cooled it good luck xD. Also, Javi had I think 2 lines of dialogue in that episode lmao.
