Distant cousin of a Potoo? Could you have released it in your yard? Do you ever stop by to see if he/she would visit you? Very nice friendship you both had with each other. Thank you for sharing.
Locally I only saw one 25 years ago now , it flew into my car headlights probably chasing a big moth. Sadly lost it's life doing so, I was only doing 60kph but wrong place at that timing . I need to raise my perception level if I wan to notice these camouflage masters .
Lucky you. I saw one dead on the side of the road and had never seen one before. Was shocked at the strangeness of it and beauty. They are common in Sydney but of course being good cameoflaougue you don’t see them.
@@MarxWegener My friend has 3 of them in her Backyard on a big tree..we think come there for safety due to the terrible weather we have had in Victoria
Wonderful bird❣️ Sweet of u to care for her, but by keeping her so long, u decreased her chances of survival n the wild. She's too used to ppl now & may fly up to the wrong person. Also would've been better to take her several times to the release spot to let her get familiar w it. Put her on a tree & let her fly back to u. She may have flown off on her own then, & u might not have had to shoo her away. U did it gently, tho, which was good. I rescue, & I've made mistakes, learning along the way.
Those birds are very lazy. They sit on a branch and let the food come to them. The bird was cute - but the pooing was a big problem. It was not a bird for the house. Apparently the wildlife rescue have plenty of young birds every year. I was told to just toss the bird out.
What a little blessing you experienced! Thank you for sharing...I am sure you miss her!
Se ve tranquilo y encantador
está muy lindo ,gracias por mostrar ,🌟❤️😂
Beautiful bird
Thank you for taking care of this lovely bird.

I'm in the middle of an industrial area. Not a good place for that birdie.
They are very accomodating and easy to deal with. Very nice bird.

That bird smiles well and really wanted you to be its owner
We are not allowed to keep native wild life as pets.

I hope it can feed itself after being fed by a human.
That will not be a problem with those birds. They sit very still and pick the food that crawls past them.
I couldn't of let him Go.
No Way.
I'm Sorry.
Qu est ce que cet oiseau fiche dans un appartement. Il serai bien mieux en liberté..!
