Wow, camping in Italy! What a nice surprise. Wasn't expecting that. Doesn't get more off the beaten path than that. It was honestly kinda unusual to see, considering the country is synonymous with luxury travel. I've only camped in the US and Canada, so it was interesting to see how they compare to our campgrounds. I read a lot of "campgrounds" in Europe are a free for all, where it's basically one field and you set up wherever you can. This one looks more similar to our campgrounds, minus the outdoor sinks.
Was so interesting to see both the touristy and non touristy side of the country.
This is kind of how we road trip in the U.S. We don't book anything and just sleep wherever we run out of daylight. So it was so interesting for me to see a European to do this, but there are certainly advantages to having your own vehicle in Italy. Sorry the campground didn't live up to expectations.
Pizza dispenser was something unique indeed. Of course Italy of all places would have that😂
I was researching train tickets and also didn't understand why the early morning trains are cheaper. I thought they would be more expensive because you are paying for the luxury of getting there earlier and having less passengers, but apparently not. Definitely a good tip to keep in mind.
    I'm loving your content!

Happy that you find some useful informations and could show something new :) And right, the Italian campings weren't the best of my life, we had better experience about campings in Croatia.

@@edinaexplores I'll have to check. Croatia is more of a nature country so I'm not surprised. I imagine France would have some good ones too. France has always lead the world in tourist stuff. A lot of the things we know today like All Inclusive resorts and hiking shelters were invented in France. And even today the French islands around the world are one of the few that have established campsites.
Don't take this the wrong way, but you didn't strike me as the camping type😂

@@edinaexplores Hello, Edina. I am Australian, born in Australia. My father was a prisoner of war in 1945 when he was only 19. After some years in France he emigrated to Australia and married in 1956. I was born in 1961. It wasn't until 1993 that my father was able to go back to Hungary. He told me so much had changed and it was so hard for him not to cry when he spoke of how much had been lost. I visited Hungary with my (Austrian) wife in 2018. Hungary is so beautiful. We can't wait to visit again. Thank you for your videos on Hungary.

@@v1e1r1g1e1 Such an interesting story!! And right, Hungary changed a lot (in good and bed terms as well), but from tourist point of view is a nice choice. Hope you will return soon :)
