About Cole & Charisma:
Welcome to the official Roll with Cole & Charisma TH-cam channel! Since the start of our relationship we've gotten a lot of questions about our experiences as not only an interracial couple, but an interabled one as well. I cook for my dogs as well because my dog has a really bad liver issue in January. The special food they wanted me to feed her was 8.00 a can and he eats 4 cans a day! I do pretty much the same recipe but add oatmeal and blueberries and cottage cheese. That was the liver diet. My hands hurt so badly after mixing all the ingredients! I do make a triple batch so I don’t have to cook every four days. I am disabled as well and it is a lot for me.
Talk about true teamwork as a married couple. You two are so awesome and positive 🩷. I have cerebral palsy and epilepsy so I have a lot of limitations. My husband is not disabled but, we’ve been handling all aspects of our lives and marriage for over 30 years now ❤

Dog food looks awesome but how do you keep fresh for the week? Do you freeze some and thaw as the week goes on?
Thank you! Yes, I freeze half of it and thaw it the day before 😊

Yes, you did speak a HUGE truth!!! Now that my husband is medically retired (stage 4 melanoma and congestive heart failure) he does more around the house while I'm at work than ever did before. I'm so blessed and thankful for him❤😊
We had a TV repairman come to our house who had only one arm. He did very well

Cole ! Your stay positive shirt reminds me of my grandmother's last words. She was in the hospital and we were all there. The doctor suddenly burst through the door and asked if any of us knew grandma 's blood type! We all.looked at each other and shook our heads no! My grandma then looked at me and said her last words which were be positive! Sure do miss her.

As someone with a spinal cord injury hiring a cleaner was the best thing I did just 2 hours a week. Gives my partner and I a break, if Im unwell I feel less guilty!
From what I understand when homaking dog food, you need a vet approved vitamin or nutritional packet to add as there are some essentials that can't easily be obtained just to be safe.
Great job making food Carisma. Healthiest thing for dogs! I second what you recommended loveleyeyes1654 .... Definitely look it to a vitamin additive or at least something for calcium (like crushed eggshells or bone meal). I used rawfedandnerdy to formulate a vet approved COOKED dog food. 🐕 🎉

Cole I am “able” bodied yet I struggle to do these tasks you do because of my depression. What you’re doing is a big deal. I hope I have the mental strength to do routine cleaning with an attitude like yours.

Saturday is our rest day too. My wife has Spina Bifida and we keep the Saturday Sabbath and rest. Sunday is our chore day too. We’ve been so encouraged from y’all’s videos!
I really enjoy the home-y vlogs! As a person with quadriplegic CP, I love seeing how Cole is able to participate around the house. Gives me hope I'll be able to do the same when I move out on my own someday.
It's funny to me that Cole called out that people would ask him why he'd bother doing something Charisma could do faster; I feel like those people would be the first to accuse Cole of not doing enough without knowing anything about his life. Truly can't please that crowd.

As a breeder, I also make my own dog food, remember, you need to add vitamins, prebiotics & probiotics to Sophie's food.
2nd, I am also a fan of detergent sheets, but I put my sheets right into the washer, is there a plus to putting the sheet into the dispenser?
Favorite pizza - why of course, Bottoms Up - CRAB PIZZA, hands down, best pizza in the world, even though I can't eat it anymore.

Laundry detergent sheets are meant to be put in the machine with the clothes, they dissolve better that way and get mixed in better with the clothes. It would also be easier for Cole to drop the sheet in unfolded in with the clothes (so ultimately a win-win)
I thought so too. I've never seen anyone put them in the little slot.
My sheets box told me to rip it up and put it in the detergent cup for front loaders
For this specific brand, the directions told us to put them in the dispenser. Not sure why but we just followed the directions
Yeah I've seen some advertised that go in the dispenser not the machine itself.

We live in the country and when new neighbors moved in behind us they asked me what they could do with their oranges. I told them to juice them and put the juice in the freezer. They have never done that in the last 5 years they have lived there. There are 8 people in their family and it baffles me that they basically throw all their oranges away every year! They just drop on the ground! I don't understand why they don't at least give them away. Can you imagine throwing all that away? Very sad!
I admire you guys so much. My husband lost his leg 23 years ago and I am disabled. He operated cranes until he retired 6 years ago. We do it all. It just takes abit longer and live on 5 acres and raise cows too 18:30 . It's hard but so worth it. Good Luck with your Fosters. Such a rewarding feeling to help innocent kids that just need love and a warm and happy home.

Cole, you remind me so much of myself, bro. ❤ people who see your videos, because I told them to watch, say that I could do that. So I think you're giving me some ideas as far as videoing some of my daily stuff. Maybe I could give you some ideas on some easier ways to do some things. I hate to be that guy but the diet youre cooking for sophie is not a complete diet and in the long run can harm her. Dogs need vitamins and minerals added to their diets if youre making homemade. Either that or she needs some organ meat and bones added to it (or suppliment with half homemade half kibbles) to make sure shes getting all of the proper nutrients! Look up what it takes to make a properly balanced homemade dog food. Im not saying to be rude i just want to make sure you can keep her healthy :)
We are making exactly what she was getting from farmers dog which our vet approved :)
I use the laundry sheets too and actually just throw them in with the laundry vs putting the sheet in the drawer and we’ve been using dryer balls for years. They are the best and no chemicals.
Same here. The sheets and dryer balls are so convenient and easy. I'll have to try adding a little lavender to the dryer balls.

Cole, you really inspire me even more! I have been disabled for the past 19 years. At first, I didn't understand why it happened to me, but as the years passed, and when I was ready to accept it, God helped me to understand why. There are many things I am not able to do, but guess what?; I don't worry about it. I just do what I can. As it turns out, so many people have come to me and told me that I have been an encouragement to them, that I helped them to realize that just being able to move at all, is a blessing within itself. As my late grammy used to say, "You don't miss your water til the well runs dry". Anyways, may God continue to bless you and Charisma!; LOVE YOU GUYS! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼💜💜💜💜

Hey guys🫶🏾question Cole do you or can you switch hands when folding the laundry for even distribution? I only ask cause it seems like folding with only one hand the whole time would leave ur arm so exhausted and sore after. Either way great job I’m so happy for you guys that you’re finding a balance.

Cole, you have come a very long way of doing things yourself. I would love to have more help with the household chores. We both do what we can but sometimes it's overwhelming so it's a good idea to keep up on things. I do make ALL of my dog's food too. It is ground turkey, mixed frozen veggies ground tiny in the food processor, & some rice. She loves it! I measure it out in snack bags & pop them in the freezer so she has fresh daily. We have very few allergy issues now. I would not feed her what I wouldn't eat myself. I enjoy our time together so it doesn't matter if you are out & about or at home. When you do have Fosters, we will see you when we see you!

I did that for years with my kids you and cole are athletic people.
Explore your option have a good time with them
They will cherish these memorys
I think it's less about not desiring to do those things with the kids and give them positive memories, moreso that they've not fostered before and currently want to prioritize making sure they do so properly.

Finally, your home is airy, open, and welcoming. I know your foster girls (whenever they arrive) will enjoy their new home, their bedrooms, and the lovely backyard.
If either of you knows how to play chess, teach them; once learned you never forget. Also, simple container gardening, personal fitness, knitting and/or crocheting/sewing are just a few rewarding life-long activities you can teach them now.

I love cooking for my dogs too. I throw it all in an instant pot. Sooo easy
