    Your attention to improvement both on and off the board is commendable!
    Regarding feedback on the audio levels - a suggestion would be to pump up the speech audio in post production, or perhaps just bump the music down slightly! Here, you're not putting much music over the skating, but we all love to hear those wheels screech and trucks grind even when you do!
    For that super high end spoken word production, look into compressing the audio in whatever editor you're using, the results will be grade A+ for sure! Thanks again!

    Gday Jon. Great Videos mate! I ride an Old School Madrid Retro...Ace 66 trucks and 60mm Powell Rat Bones. They are amazing wheels for power slides..they release perfectly but are still buttery soft for my 40year old knees. I am always on the lookout for similar wheels to Rat bones. What are the wheels you are rocking in this Video as they look similar?.. Cheers from NZ

      Yeah these are Slimeballs, I think they are called Big Balls 😂 60mm and I think 92 ish duro, they are quite old, I’m not sure you can get them anymore??

    Hi Jon great Channel. I am from Bournemouth and Kingspark is close to where I live. I have never skateboarded but I have snowboarded. Thinking of getting a Surfskate to ride some bowls. Two bare feet do a Surfskate for £80. Do you think it’s worth getting that one to start?

    • @gnarlycharlie1701
      @gnarlycharlie1701 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Or would it be worth spending more on a Carver? Any tips would be great 🏄‍♂️ 🙏

    Hey, I noticed you have the Daniel Vargas, welcome effigy board! I’ve been eying that one for a bit. How does it ride?

    • @JonBishopSkate
      @JonBishopSkate  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey dude
      Yeah I really like it!
      It’s got a shorter Wheelbase so I can run the trucks slightly tighter.
      I love the Andy Anderson, but they are getting harder to find, so I was on the look out for a more readily available alternative. I’m also feeling ready for something a touch smaller and this is 8.8 as opposed to the Anderson at 9.13??

    These used to be my go to back in the 70’s so I ought to give them a try. Not sure about the surf skate though. I bought one recently after watching one of your other videos and it’s just bloody weird. Feels like it needs to be a foot longer 😄

      @@JonBishopSkate It was a pretty cheap one I bought by Two Bare Feet with their ‘A Frame’ front truck. I’m going to get a 40” longboard and see how it feels on that. Any excuse to buy a new board eh? 🤣

    Got some padded shorts to work on these..and slide gloves just in case.....do you think it best to master powerslides before bert slides?

    • @JonBishopSkate
      @JonBishopSkate  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Dude, many thanks for tuning in.
      You can just go straight into the Bert practice I recon? The power slide is good to get a feel for how the foot pressures work without having to worry about doing the layback aspect. As soon as you get the feel of pumping up and loading the front foot while looking with the head, you should find both start happening??!
