  • Burst Through Your Creative Comfort Zone
Do you get stuck with your landscapes? Maybe you feel like you need a description vision to proceed but nothing is coming to you? Or you paint a landscape but it just looks tight and flat? Well, this exercise will help. It’s tough to push through our comfort zone, but if you move fast enough, it’s easier! Try it out and let me know how it worked in the comments.
    Video Chapters:

Outstanding...this is so good for me because I used to oil paint more in the "photo realism" style. This process is freeing and fun, and I am less "hard" on myself. Yes, please notify me of the upcoming class! Thank you for your encouragement and love for art!

Your words are inspiring. I love the idea of painting quickly, without thought and just intuition in the beginning and then going back to refine the work. I can get to hung up on being perfect or correct. Thanks for the inspiration. 😍

I totally relate! It took me a long time to discover that, and it’s still hard to break of the habit of being really careful or striving for perfection right from the start. I’m so happy you’re enjoying the video!

Brilliant Marabeth! The outcome (in my humble opinion) is breathtaking - amongst the most intriguing abstract landscapes I've seen. As always, Thank You so much for sharing! I am grateful for your incredible generosity. Will definitely be enrolling in once of your classes if they're available in the new year when I have capacity (time).

Hi Gabriela! I believe the color you’re referring to is Steel Blue. I use it a lot-it’s really beautiful and blends well with so many other things. Thanks for the kind words 🥰

I haven’t used gelatos yet but I’m guessing they are very similar
