For those interested, the early bird pyros get there on Tuesday/Wednesday to start set up, bigger crews arrive Thursday-Saturday. On Friday and Saturday it is not uncommon to have 200-300 pyros on the field at any one time setting up the displays. The man-hours put into creating this event is staggering! Please note that the labor on the field is 100% volunteer. Us pyros do this for the sheer love and passion for our craft! If all the volunteers were paid the prevailing wages for pyro shoots, the ticket prices for admission would be astronomical! We love sharing our craft! Thank you all for attending this event! Us pyros LOVE an audience - it makes us dig even deeper to create astonishing pyromusicals for your enjoyment!
