Uncle Al may be starting to appreciate his own accomplishments! He could mix the synth with industrial and do a career retrospective that would be epic. He should embrace it! This was awesome
DEFINITELY at least ONE NEW ALBUM or tour. Bring back the O.G. sound in tribute. Have you ever heard Grimes? She does her songs like Al used to, with synth and drum machine and programming singing the vocals with samples. The Classic and the New together during the same time period would be a gift for all for history's sake!
@@EarlSmith2469 Yeah Grimes has some pretty cool stuff. I had "We Appreciate Power" stuck in my head for the longest time. Amazing track. I also agree that Al needs to rework With Sympathy. Like you said... because it would be fun.
Yeah dude, 30 fucking years ago just like you were told. 1986>1996 is 10 years. 1996>2006 is another 10. 2006> 2016 is the final decade to make 3 decades and total 30 years. Is this an image of you here? i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/newsfeed/001/191/035/135.png
Texas is sad now Al. Sad that you called somewhere else home and sad that we didn't get this at our show. Oh well, thanks for allowing it on the internet so we can at least see and enjoy it.
As soon as the opening guitar started, my brain immediately turned it into "Got the Time" by Joe Jackson. Now I'm afraid I'll never be able to unhear it...
The older sound would be excellent. Either way, With Sympathy is the only record I have stolen in my life. I have owned thousands. That is the only one that I wanted so bad I jacked it lol.
Now if only we could blend and acoustic “I Touch Roses” after this it would be every after hours club from the late 80’s-early 90’s. Damn I miss those days!
So im going to freaks on Parade with zombie and cooper and ministry is going to to be there and like I'm not feeling their metal shit but im feeling their synth shit and this is hands down their biggest hit
Why age-restricted ? Why ? It's a teen song , it isn't "HOUSES OF THE MOLE 21+"!!! WHY? AND WHY NOT "SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER"???????????????????????????????????????????????????
Was really looking forward to it at first, thought he was only joking about doing it with acoustic guitars... Am I the only one who didn't like it performed this way? Cuz I didn't like it at all. I'm really surprised at the positive comments here.
Feeling torn about this one. As this is my favorite Ministry song, I came to love it because of the electronic basis. While I can appreciate this performance as a re-interpretation, I just don’t feel the connection with acoustic instruments.
I saw disco ministry I think it was 1982 or 83 at Spies in Long Island. Saw Industrial ministry in like 1986. Saw the more rock version in 1988 or so. Great shows but IMO this performance isn't good. Maybe it's just the shock of after 30 years seeing them do acoustic.
The reality is and sadly the last good tour was like 16-17 years ago. It's been a slow degradation since then. I love ministry and Uncle Al but its gone. We now go see them play for the same reasoning as the rolling stones because they still play. It's not all them either it's us as well, do we begin to sweat on the first note played, does the rhythm of breath place us in the trance it used to , during stigmata or so what have we allowed ourselves to be worked into the frenzy it was ment to, no. He sees this standing on stage instead of a crowd that could easily be confused with a riot, he sees people watching him preform through a phone and being as disconnected as he seems to be he mirrors us all part of his fuck you.
I'm not gonna disagree with you because you're right. Ministry passed through here last summer. I chose to dogsit for my sister who was travelling out of town for her anniversary instead of seeing Uncle Al. 17 year old me would be kicking 45 year old me in the balls for doing such a thing. But you're right, Ministry has only been Ministry in name only post-Barker with tons of interchangeable members. That said, if they did an acoustic set, I would be somewhat intrigued.
@@JohnDoe-le7ml yeah it hurts a bit the reality of it. I've seen thrill kill kult a few times in the past five years or so but only because it's been really small venues and the band invites everyone to a after party. Frank is really accessible he isn't doing the rock an roll star shit he is hanging out with people that love the band and is there to be with us. He knows that the fans are what is most important and shows it. Hell we had a hour long discussion about his divorce last time and the time before he got the tour bus to give my friend and I a ride back to our homes plural just because we were to fucked up to drive. I don't party anymore family man but when in Rome you know. I don't know if Al has reached this point yet but I hope he does not only will it will be appreciated but it will allow him to keep evolving and not be as stagnate as he has been.
I cant believe they played this song. Make me watery eyed. Next tour should be old synth hits!
Uncle Al may be starting to appreciate his own accomplishments! He could mix the synth with industrial and do a career retrospective that would be epic. He should embrace it! This was awesome
That’s cool that you saw it too!
If I remember this correctly, he was forced into doing this this song by the record producers
"We're sick of playing old shit right now so we decided we're gonna play something even older"
-Al
I think hell just froze over. Wow. Wax Trax reborn!
I was there to witness it all!!!
It's nice to see Al go back to his roots. :)
Wow! Al sounds great.
I was there!!! It was an awesome show!!! I never thought I'd ever get to hear this performed live and was so glad they actually did! 💖
I miss Ministry's Goth Synthpop days!
this made me happy to hear it done this way.
Need to play Over the Shoulder now
KEXP brought me here on this Halloween '21. Al's voice sounds amazing. I would have loved to have been at this show. Good stuff. 🎃💀👌
Beautiful Al! I wish I could of been there
Make Ministry Synthpop Again.
Make them chillwave now !!!

One can only hope 🖤
YES!
I'm hoping the nature of love.
I wanted to tell her
Jorge Andrés Arango THIS is what I dream of!!!!
Thanks for this! It's so good to see Uncle Al looking, sounding so well and clearly having fun
This is crazy!!!! Wish I could have been there. Saw them in Houston on Dec 13, 2018. Same tour, awesome show!
Actually, Halloween was played live from 1984 through 1986, and can be heard on the recently released "Toronto 1986".
Yeah, but I'm not sure Al remembers.
Or he just loves telling tales, no matter how tall
that is true, but it hasn't been played live since

He just can't add... Still cool to see this!
Let's go Al! We luv it! Boppy Bop Bop!
Thanks for that Uncle Al it will always be my favorite
Watching this on Halloween!
Wow... What a beautiful treat. Now maybe he'll dust off some other early oldies and do em this way 😁
Love this!

Would love for them to do a tour and embrace the synth era...AND even turn some of the not so old songs into synth versions.
This has a super intimate feel, especially for a guy who famously seems to have an almost adversarial relationship with his fans in concert.
Now ... it's time to finish the circle uncle Al .. we need a metal indus version of this masterpiece ^^
Wow fking great!!!!
They played it live in Toronto back in 1986.
MMM HMM - ministryband.bandcamp.com/track/every-day-is-halloween
i would love to see them do with sympathy all raged out
hahaha That will never happen but yea it would be fun
And Twitch!
The older sound would be excellent. Either way, With Sympathy is the only record I have stolen in my life. I have owned thousands. That is the only one that I wanted so bad I jacked it lol.
I want Revenge played like this!
here is revenge another way... not quite as mellow! th-cam.com/video/0fV6T5Zx3WA/w-d-xo.html
Someone included the original version of this in their Halloween mixtape at Starbucks 😃
its in. my. playlist at the thai resturant i work lmao
I HATE THE ANTICHRIST I HATE THE ANTICHRIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Way too cool!
Now if only we could blend and acoustic “I Touch Roses” after this it would be every after hours club from the late 80’s-early 90’s. Damn I miss those days!
Dope🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Interesting way to bust it back out after years on the shelf.
Creepy Uncle Al with a little Halloween treat. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Pretty fucking awesome
Firing One up for you uncle al!... now we just gotta get you to play revenge....

Al jourgenson ❤
I liked the b-side xx love
I was there. I was the guy who u thought didnt fit in.
Clearly, I have died and gone to Goth Fucking Heaven. Daaaaamn.
So im going to freaks on Parade with zombie and cooper and ministry is going to to be there and like I'm not feeling their metal shit but im feeling their synth shit and this is hands down their biggest hit
I saw them Lollapalooza 1992.
I thought they were from Chicago?
Teary eyed...
Unlikely, but I sure hope this isn't just a one off occurrence
Why age-restricted ? Why ? It's a teen song , it isn't "HOUSES OF THE MOLE 21+"!!! WHY? AND WHY NOT "SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER"???????????????????????????????????????????????????
Hey a Joe Jackson song!
Uncle Al’s sing along…
Was really looking forward to it at first, thought he was only joking about doing it with acoustic guitars... Am I the only one who didn't like it performed this way? Cuz I didn't like it at all. I'm really surprised at the positive comments here.
Greg Enright yeah same here. I wanted the synth sound
33 years old, not 37
He probably wrote it back then...

Now they playing distorted disco ! Why not chillwave ?"Should have known better" is better than"Just one fix", of course ??????????
are they done with the big inflatable trump chickens?
I think so.... No giant trump chickens at the show on December 5th. ☻
