Veruca may be a brat and all but at the end of the day the actress did a really good job portraying Veruca. What's funny is that in real life she is such a sweetheart according to her co stars.
A spoiled brat is more like it. She has no patience, no heart, no compassion, no selfless bone in her body. She’s greedy, careless, selfish, heartless, no-good, lazy, bossy, and ungrateful. Hopefully that garbage shoot makes her see she can’t get what she wants. It would serve her right if she had everyone laugh at her and also the maids force her to have a bath with hot water and shampoo that stings her eyes. Her bratty ways annoy me.

Cole had three gifts which were the props: the egg, gobstopper, and golden ticket. In addition, although Cole sang "I want it now", what you see here is a lip-sync performance; her vocals were done prior to filming and she mimed during the shoot.
He probably just couldn't be bothered because he clearly new that she was just a spoilt brat who expects to get whatever she wants and so just wasn't worth it.
Julie Dawn Cole (Veruca Salt) smashed a watermelon-sized chocolate egg on a rock in the chocolate room that she didn’t know was real. I love how wonka is so calm
"A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest Men."
I know why Gene The guy who plays Willy wonka is dead. Well you see there is something called a disease and he died from there he was 83. He died on August 29 2016(I think)
This is how Grandpa Joe died I don’t exactly know how I just know he died in 2011 and he was 82 I can’t believe he was younger then Gene.
She is so good. She wants golden ticket, golden goose, basicly wants one Oompa as a slave. Best Veruca ever.
"And if I don't get the things that I'm after, I'm going to scream." Holy shit Veruca predicted the 2010s.
Veruca was a spoiled brat and it make sense that no matter how spoiled you are, you can't always get what you want in life.
True
Why do I get the feeling that if Violet hadn't chewed that gum and turned into a giant blueberry, she would've thrown Veruca down the garbage chute herself?
0:56 What?
I dunno why, but that makes me laugh. 😂 😆
Blows my mind she was able to do it all in one take. Even if Veruca is bratty, you can’t help but love her haha
Today she would say: I want a IPhone X, and a IMac, and a Rolex, and a Lambo now!
She played this charatcter so well. Loved this performance. She understood the assignment "we need you to play a bratty spoiled girl" ok i got you. 😂
I love how the paper just perfectly falls around him.
