The whole Vontaze Burfict/Pac Man Jones debacle never happens. THE BENGALS WIN A PLAYOFF GAME FOR ONCE! And so that means they travel to Foxboro for the Divisional Round ... where they of course revert back to the Bungals and get stomped on by the Patriots. But hey, at least they finally got a playoff win, right?
Meanwhile the Kansas City Chiefs face the division rival Broncos in Denver. The game goes very similarly to their Week 10 match-up in the regular season, with the Chiefs putting the final nail in Peyton Manning's coffin. And then in the AFC Championship Game in Foxboro, Andy Reid forgets how to manage the clock AGAIN, and the Pats go back to the Super Bowl for a rematch of Super Bowl 38 with the Panthers. This time though, the Panthers get the better of them, denying the Pats a repeat.

What if the Ravens had taken Zeke Elliott?
Well let's start from the beginning:
Zeke leads the Ravens to a 4-0 Preseason (much like the Ravens had in real life). In the regular season, he's lighting it up! He's almost unstoppable. They start the season off at 5-0, until they meet the Giants in week six. Zeke gets stopped for the first time in his young career. He gets back on track the following week against the Giants little brother the Jets and he runs for 2 and change against a lousy and lackluster Jets defense. Then week 11 rolls around, the 8-1 Ravens travel to "Jerry's World" and play "America's Team" The Dallas Cowboys, and WOULDN'T CHA KNOW IT?! Zeke is having such a great game, he pulls a Terrell Owens and dances in the middle of the star. Then, the Ravens keep rolling, and eventually roll to a 14-2 record. They then face the team that beat them in week six in the Superbowl, the New York Giants. And Eli wins his third ring.
Romo was also heavily rumored to go to Green Bay.
Same draft, what if my Raiders would have picked Ben Roethlisberger at pick 2 instead of Robert Gallery.
Giants D line had Brady’s number.

Strahan & company held the Patriots to only 14 points. Sacked Brady five times and was in his face all night. That was the key.
Eli was clutch when it mattered, you can't play down the helmet catch like that.
@@Cakebutts The helmet catch was a miracle. That wasn't Eli being clutch (which he is). That was literally a prayer hoping the ball would somehow land in his receivers hand. If Eli didn't have that Giants Defense with Strahan and Tom Coughlin as head coach, who had been offensive coordinator under the Giants when Bill Belichick was the defensive coordinator, he would not have been in the Super Bowl. Without Strahan and that Giants pass rush, Brady would have scored 30 on the Giants. Having said that, if Roethlisberger was on the Giants, he would have probably won too.
Eli had to get away 1st to even throw the ball down field. The ball starts wit the qb. So if got sacked there be no discussion at about the helmet catch. Simple

I don't agree with this N 'if' L at all. There is zero analysis of the situation, coaches, and the players these quarterbacks played with. Eli was terrible his rookie year and I could see him just falling out favor with the coaches in San Diego. That also coupled in with the fact his dad didn't want him there in the first place just smells real trouble, like first pick overall bust trouble. For the Giants I can see Big Ben taking the reigns from Warner and I believe his play is enough to keep Tiki Barber happy and content leading him to play a couple more years. Rivers has the potential to be even greater, cause he's really a great QB (just playing for a terrible franchise) Fast forward a couple years and I can see Big Ben with at least two rings. Rivers with at least two rings. And Eli maybe out of the NFL.

What if Tom Brady was not passed up by the 49ers and actually 0layed for San francisco
Well if Brady was taken by the 49ers in the 2000 NFL Draft, the Pats would've drafted Giovanni Carmazzi. Drew Bledsoe wouldn't have gotten injured by Mo Lewis (which by the way, thanks a lot Mo.) And the Patriots still would've sucked. Belichick would be in New York, (Ironically coaching the Jets) and Brady would lead the Niners to multiple championships and playoff appearances. Then in 2014, the 49ers would've taken Jimmy G in the draft, only to trade him to New England a few years later.
At least if this were the case, Rivers gets a ring and his career wouldn’t have been “wasted.”
I still got love for my Chargers but Rivers deserves a ring.
If Eli stayed with the Chargers, he'd be even more successful. He has 2 rings and is top 10 all-time in yds, tds, completions, gw drives, and comebacks.
And this is WITHOUT a 14-2 roster that Rivers had. Without a HOF back and TE in LT/Gates
Yusuf Abdullah not sure about that. Phil has a 94.6 QBR, Eli has 83.9. 06 was Rivers' first year playing, so it's hard to judge his performance that year. No doubt having LT early in his career and Gates in his entire career has been great for him, but the dude has had a non-existent O line for 6 years straight now
Yusuf Abdullah the thing that won the Giants those 2 Super Bowls was their pass rush...something San Diego never possessed. I don't think it mattered what QB was behind center

Both Eli and the defense were important. Eli still had to drive them down field both times at the end of those games while not giving Brady much time for a comeback.

Guaranteed not a doubt in my mind rivers would have ZERO Superbowls. In no way woul he have made it past favre nfc championship in green bay. It was the 3rd coldest game in history n we all know rivers sux in extremely cold games. The following nfc championship game against the 49ers at san fran in no way he win that. The giants could not run the ball at all they were forced to throw 53 times n eli got crushed pn over a dozen times. Regardless the giants played the patriots in the superbowl a team that rivers couldn't beat in the postseason so it's literally impossible to concede rivers could win a sb with the giants

Kirk Moore Rivers would look like a bum on giants plus Rivers doesn’t have the clutch trait. Philip Rivers always gets excuses but he had sit of good teams in his career... if Eli has a bad team than it’s all Eli’s fault. I actually wouldn't mind this tbh. Brady might have 1 less sb appearance but that's 1 less loss as well. And he gets his 4th at sb 46 and assuming the rest stays the same it would give Brady 7 appearances with 6 wins and only 1 loss which would be to the eagles this past year. So all in all I would quickly give up a sb appearance that we lost anyways to give Brady 1 more ring and 2 less losses

People don’t realize what the Manning’s were up to with Manning not wanting to go to San Diego.. it was basically so the two brothers wouldn’t play often against each other but once every 4 years instead of possibly playing against each other every year during the season and the playoffs and also they were wanting a Manning vs Manning SB and why Peyton stayed in the AFC when he left the Cults and went to Denver.. also all this is speculation bc if Rivers went to Pittsburg there’s a chance they don’t go to the SB in February of 06 it’s possible their record could of been worse an not even made the playoffs bc each player is different and outcome of games would of been different.. but it’s fun to think of the what if

The biggest part of this what if is plaxico not shooting himself. Maybe if he wasn't partying like beating the undefeated patriots but instead the chargers he wouldn't have shot himself. Then the Giants have their best offensive weapon still there the next season and repeat.
