Yesssss! Definitely watch Doctor Who! I'm a classic who and current who fan. Probably not the best idea to watch it starting with a Christmas special since probably won't make much sense to you. I reccomend the show though!!

I completely understand your perfectionism. Last year I also had to go out to find a nice water jug and a wine decanter. Not that anyone else cared but I would have been annoyed every time I’d have had to top up the glasses. I’m not the best housewife (I hate ironing, hoovering, cleaning windows, cleaning out cupboards...)but I aim to be a great hostess.

This year, there's going to be a new doctor that appears in the christmas special, so it would be a great time to start. I will say, you should definitely watch the other seasons, starting with christopher eccleston as the ninth doctor and go on from there. My family is never able to watch the christmas special on actual christmas but we have on demand and watch it the next day and i'm very excited, especially because the new doctor is going to be a woman for the first time!!!
Yes you should watch doctor who!!!!! Maybe not start on the christmas special though this year is when the first ever female docter will arrive!!!!!! Super excited!
you can watch the christmas episode of Doctorwho, because every one to two years, on the christmas episode there is a new doctor, so you would probably understand it, and i personally think that the christmas episode is the best of the year x
