So sorry to say we lost Dwight this last February. I got to hunt with him once for mule deer in southern Idaho back around 1984. I've never hunted with Larry Jones but have had the pleasure of conversing with him on several occasions. These two gentlemen are as fine of men as God ever put on this planet...
This gives me goose bumps! I cant tell y'all how many times I watched this as a kid. Lije three tines a day if I could haha. Great trip down memory lane
I had a class with Dwight in journalism school at the University of Oregon in the mid-70s. You could not meet a nicer guy. Really enjoyed talking hunting with him. At that time Dwight was "from" Klamath Falls and I was "from" Medford, so we knew a lot of the same country.
The old range finder, release directly under the rock, aluminum arrows! What memories! Dwight was a great hunter and writer. Inspired me soooo much. Sad to hear of his passing.
Love the intro and when they put down that nice sixer! Seeing all the friendship is what it’s all about! I have the same bugle as they got on there my dad gave it to me haha

That video is a masterpiece. When is Elk Fever II and III going to be uploaded. On one of them shows, one of their young boys kills an elk with his bow at 4 yards. Classic shows. Cannot wait to watch more.

I remember watching this almost every day as a kid with my dad. Some kids watch Disney movies on repeat, I watched elk hunting
Growing up in Oregon this was played in our archery shop all the time. Where I gained most of my knowledge on archery hunting. These guys are legends.

Classic hunting film! I love their camo and face paint but especially the narrator, not too many films use that style anymore!

Elk Fever II will be released tomorrow. Elk Fever III was just finished this year and will be released Wednesday.
