      I’m in Idaho and rarely wear pants. Shorts, sweatshirt, tennis shoes…maybe a beanie. It’s been 22*F lately and I’m still working outside in shorts. When I’m moving and working, I get really hot. It sucks to be sweating in below 30*F temps.

    Me being a Finnish native, but living in Germany, I still love your videos and this was the first time, that I actually listened what you called Sisu-Nasu.. And that translated to you..if you haven't looked that up from wikipedia yet.. nasu is the Finnish word for Piglet from Winnie the Pooh..and the word Nasu for that vehicle comes from "nauha-sisu", that just translates to track-sisu in English. BUT it is cool that you use the Finnish word for it!! I like it a lot. Iz naizzz..

    You know, I usually watch things like Vice Grip Garage, Cleetus and Dennis Collins but for some reason your videos are so amazingly entertaining. And trust me, I am NOT a diesel guy. In fact I don't even own a truck. I think it's your humanitarian spirit and your willingness to explain things. I hope your subscribership sky rockets and keep on doing these recoveries - they are really great. - Much love from Ontario, Canada - Eric

    That Hagglunds BV206 snowcat brings back memories. What vehicle that was. It could get up to seventeen fully equipped troops into an active zone across a whole spectrum of terrain and in comfort so that they were rested and ready to rock and roll. As the boys prove, it makes a pretty good recovery vehicle too. The crisp snarl of that 6 cylinder Mercedes engine never fails to bring a smile.

    Yes!!! Definitely hate the time change and getting stuck doing things in the dark! I think everyone was surprised by how much snow came early with these storms. However, hunters are a special breed and they would have probably gone anyway in spite of a possible storm weather report. Epic scenery!! Thanks for being the Good Samaritan Sparks team. Glad to see the Nasu put into good use! I was a Sissi (recon) in the FDF and we had these as squad vehicles. They can get a bit finicky with their maintenance, but they go pretty much anywhere. I've seen these scale damn near vertical cliffs without too much effort, while loaded.

    It’s really cool that I know exactly where you guys are! That area is one of my favorite places on this beautiful earth. I camp very near there MANY times each summer. I have a favorite spot I call “Camp Sabot”. Sabot was my dog from a tiny puppy at 5 weeks old until she passed at 12 years. This was our favorite area and I buried her there. I hope when I pass, my ashes will be spread, by airplane in that same area.
    Thanks for doing what you do guys, you help to keep our amazing lands and people safe. I was stuck in this area in 2005 on the elk hunt. Luckily, I only had to leave my trailer for 10 days after sliding off the road (to the west) until it all melted and I was able to recover it.

    You guys really should build yourself a half track for jobs like this. Set it up with a gooseneck and fifth wheel combo so you can easily hook up to any trailer.

    The REASON they are going before the storm is that is the ideal hunting. The deer/elk are up and moving ahead of the storm feeding to prepare for it.

    No.
    Daylight-saving time is what you have for the summer. In the winter, you're running on standard time. There is (or ought to be) a line of longitude in each time zone at which local noon (when the sun is at its zenith) coincides with the standardised noon (12 pm).

      only worms rejuvenate and make soil
      goats and sheep can help

      cows pull out the roots

      I been researching regenerative ag and especially Allan Savory, it seem spectacular what they can do to desert land with livestock

    • @Gustav4
      @Gustav4 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@feelinghealingfrequences7179 No it all depends on how you manage the cows, thats whats new here, and you gotta learn this stuff, just because you had to do with livestock all your life doesnt mean you know enough about regenerative livestock management. Gotta be open minded.
      If you keep the cattle on the land for too long of course they will eat the roots if there is nothing else, but if you put them on the land for half a day and then move them, they will maybe only eat 50% of the plant, and that is good for the plant and also new plants, it will encourage new plants to grow and thats how you make desert into grassland and make the water stop running of it to destroy roads and clock up rivers with sediment.
