      Glad you like it!
14 minutes is a lot to spend on leaving a hostler shift I know, but getting an invoice that’s $1800 short is something I would not wish on anyone. Paying attention to the little things is the difference between thriving with Amazon versus hating it.

I just type in Dummy for the trailer and select one that pops up when doing hostler work and don’t have any problems

I am going to try this next time because it could be done on the other side of the gate so you could still obtain Y-Checkout. I can’t wait to try it because if it works, it is far superior to what I have been doing. I appreciate your insight.

The last three weeks I have had the same issue. Also for the first time I didn't get paid for my bobtail even when the in and out were done.

I have a new tactic I want to try, I actually learned about it from a comment on this video but I haven’t had a hostler shift to try it on. What I plan on doing is:
      1. Check out through gate, get Y-checkout
      2. If hostler shift remains in queue, manually add trailer “DUMMY” outside of the gate to clear it.
Of course I’m gonna take screens of each step, I’m curious to find out if the Y check-out remains after I add the dummy trailer, should I have to add the dummy trailer. If it works, this method is way better than what I have suggested in the past and I will need to make an update.
Look, I know I’m a dork, who spends this much time thinking about how to leave a facility? I just want to see everyone get paid.
      More to come

I had a trip hung up in transit from a block booked from loadboard. They waited 2 weeks to try to payout for it and only trying to pay a fraction of what the block was booked for because they canceled the first leg. Why is everything our fault these days?

My least favorite thing is redirects. I’m capable of understanding basic information and these are way above my pay grade. You sign up for a load that day is $5/mile but then they redirect you to another site that is 11 miles further, but then they pay those 11 miles out at the fuel surcharge and not the $5/mile you signed up for. On top of this, redirects are usually time sucks that take an ungodly amount of time.
Yay! I spent 3 hours on 11 miles and made $5.
I’ve read their entire carrier contract and keep up with updates and I have more questions than answers. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Sounds like Amazon is making things difficult to have success, I went through the same thing with them took a month and a half to get paid then got hit with a disruption on top of that. Smh😅😅

You are 100% correct. I realized early on (the first time I lost early access) there is zero reward for a good work ethic and loyalty. Any other broker would cut you some slack if you executed 499/500 loads perfectly and had to cancel that one, but Amazon is being Amazon.
Glad you got paid for yours, payment disputes can be tricky and the fact that you got paid tells me you did it right.

They have been down right disrespectful with the policy changes, dispute processes, foul play with pay in 2024. After i get this contract done they wont see me again😂. They are invoicing me trailer toll recovery fees? Power only, and only run contracts were accessorials are included. Im so confused and frustrated, every single week its literally something. Either performance ding for their fuck ups or they short my money. Im so done risking my life and equipment for these guys.

Yeah, these policy changes are killing it. Woke up yesterday to the email of the new 10 load requirement for six weeks as opposed to 3 (currently). Their system used to be “doable” if you had a misstep, you could scale back your work with them, let your grade recover, and come back stronger six weeks later. The way things are heading, it pretty much allows them to mark you down for things outside of your control and then are forced to run for substandard rates in order to even have a chance of seeing decent loads again. I definitely don’t like the direction it’s heading.
I am basically one false accusation away from where you’re at. If I mess up and my grade goes down, I’ll own that but if they mark me down for something made up and subsequently say they get to pay me less, I’ll be done too.
