Misdiagnosis leads to maltreatment which may harm the body, along with the worsening of the original condition that you had.

Bravo !! Thank U Quint for Showing reality of JR Doctors ,
It may sound hypothetical to common people and they think its a lie because its unbelievable for most people ,
First Year JR doctor in every medical college hospital in whole India is forced to do 24-36 hrs duty with 1-2 hrs sleep and a single meal in between , if they are lucky enough to get this one meal and 2 hr sleep .. after that duty he gets 5-6 hrs break for all his works including bath and eat n sleep , then again this cycle continues .... 🙂
    Is this humane ? U tell ??

I am not afraid of safety of doctors alone, I am worried about their working conditions, hygiene and mental health also. If they are not getting rest, basic facilities of hygiene, facilities like emergency leaves, not getting time to spend with their families which are few basic fundamental needs of every human being, I don't know how can we expect best quality of output for a longer term. They are also humans and they also deserve to love and enjoy their life. Being a doctor doesn't mean ruining personal life.. in my opinion

I've just watched a foreign hospital ICU scenario and came to this,I think here the problem is deep rooted and unimaginably complex. Here we cannot completely blame common ppl because they themselves are victims of beuracracy and not to forget doctors before or also part and victims of this system. And the majority of basic indian society think that doctors are in a very comfortable lifestyle and job earning vast amount of money and usually misinformed or ignorant of the stress they experience. No control of hospital and pharmaceutical charges is one of its main reasons. And also not forget that rapid and high increase in medical clg fee and tough exam pattern, marks oriented studies resulted in commercial minded medical students however we cannot blame all of them, though they really want to be selfless and service minded they are helpless becoz they have to compensate the amount they spend to acquire that position, that is the reason why majority of Indian parents want their children to be either doctor or engineer.we can only change this if we each of us will come out of our selfish ,care less zone, having said that, that continuous work hours is inhumane.

They should increase salaries of doctors irrespective of allopathy or indian medicine doctors or else doctors obviously will leave their homeland and work elsewhere, this country needs a lot of respect and salary hikes for professionals.

to be honest , if someone visits poor states like odisha , Govt doctors dnt work properly , they simply treat better n pvt nursing homes by charging more . there 's a doctor named subhendu das very renowned well knowledgeable doctor , you will find him treating in pvt homes by charging 300 per person .the same doctor wont treat you better if you consult him in MKCG berhammpur (govt hospital) . how satire is that .

Log pdhe like log Jo unke liye kaam Krte h, unki izzat nhi krte.
Junior doctors work most and this is not what they deserve. Almost every doctor tries their best when it comes to saving people but at times the best just isn't good enough.
I can imagine people getting nasty for Co-operate behaviors in Hospitals, delays, irrational fees and policies but Junior doctors have nothing to do with it.
Aisa hi chlta rha to more Doctors will rather work abroad than here. And then we would start complaining.. "India produces Engg and Doctors but they don't work for us".

Its quite common with the localities in karnataka. I have witnessed and threatened by bystanders when i was working in bangalore. Need better education instead of radical political teaching to common man.
Such unorthodox practices by hospitals in karnataka has to be stopped by the authorities. Foreign countries have government hospitals with 5*facilities. The kind of money investment in india for medical facilities expansion is 30-40% lofted than developed countries. Simultaneously the people should come out of stupidity to understand the hospitals are not temples and medical professionals are not GOD.

I never support the manhandling of doctor.
I just have few question for doctors
Are Doctors being gentle in govt hospitals ?
Doesnt govt doctors demand money with poor in district hospitals
A govt office official doesnt even have some gentleness while saying patient is dead.
This people can go on strike when KAR Govt wanted to introduce the price capping on services in pvt hospital.
Y cant they fight against govt for better facility at hospital.
Patients vist to hospital to get support. if any doctor is questioned about the problem in hospital the answer ...
GO and ask GOVT. now for patients who is the govt rep. It is doctors.
So before complaining so much, doctors do have loop holes please fill that gap.
I do a regular visit to govt hospital. And writing this review.
I strongly oppose the manhandling of doctors.

The root cause of this issue is no adequate doctors as per patients ratio , employ more doctors , we know our is blessed with population and huge people live below poverty line , only govt hospital is their saviour, so recruitment of doctors and make them regular shift in any other govt jobs . If govt do this , it's good for doctors and patients.

When they said that their working hours begins at 9 and goes on till the next day, timing unknown and when the female doctor says “it takes a lot out of u” to treat a “stranger” at odd hours. Why then are they in that field?. Get out from there, and choose a cushy 9-6 job... don’t berate the profession for ur shortcomings and ur ineptness..

Well that’s the humane side of doctors you are trying to show, ignoring their contempt and abhorrence to their patients and also rude behaviour to them is pervasive everywhere especially in government hospitals. That doctor is saying that ‘they are not god’’but they pretend like they are god and almighty and we are on their mercy.

I am a medical transcriptionist and I am aghast at the way our “doctors” complain of “little rest”, “inhumanly long hours” etc. simple. Then why did u enter the medical profession “knowing” all this?. Weren’t you guys made aware of all these in medical school?. Don’t u guys know actually that this is indeed the case?. Or were u all so immersed in social networking that u guys were totally unaware of even these basics?. This is how these youngsters should be treated and “Instagram generation” should be made aware in a language they understand that life is not a bed of roses and they’ve to respect patients and treat them like humans rather than just patients. Then see the respect. I have also come across doctors overworked and yawningly dictating operative reports etc, but yes that’s the way of life. That’s how it is. If u don’t like it, get out but don’t sully the medical profession in general. There’s some little respect I have towards doctors don’t make me erode that also...
