A little tip for the Greenhouse: Most rooms in the Greenhouse have closets, so stay by a closet until you know it’s safe.

I think it's gonna be perma on a future update because yeah, wasting 2 hours(+stress+A-90) to get a Night vision tablet is really not ideal

I think it should be permanent at least in the portal, or being unlocked in the pre run shop or jeff's shop after getting it once
Pretty good item but it is not worth the time and stress
