I think to give time is the point. Quality time together. A good friend of mine made me vouchers. She asked around our friends group an i got 12 vouchers. For every month one to save me time and i enjoyed reading in that time. One loves to clean up. She offered me window cleaning. Saves me 1 hour and afterwards we cooked together. Another took my car, tiedied it up. Checked every fluid and thats very sweet. Got a baked cake. Sit together chat about a book and enjoy the cake..... looking forward to open next month.
That’s so lovely! I agree that time spent together is so lovely. I do love a physical gift though - something you can use and appreciate the giver even when you’re not together.
It always makes me so anxious to see someone burn a real candle on their bookshelf. As soon as I noticed it behind you I couldn't think about anything else.
Thank you for this video, some great ideas! Love that you didn't research stickers to protect your purse - so sensible! I got that quill set for my daughter, she loves it so much. Also i didn't realise you live in the UK!
Oh nice! Which part of the UK, if you don't mind me asking? I'm in North Yorkshire. It's so cool thinking that someone I follow on YT actually lives near(ish) me!
I loved the bookish lego idea. There are also several minature room kits that are libraries or books stores that are super cute. Book nooks are also a great option (at least I like them ❤).
Great list! I'd love pretty much everything on it! I've asked for gear to rebind books for Christmas because I've become interested in it for my newest hobby, so my plan for next Christmas is to learn all of my bookish friends/family members' favorite books and buy a copy then rebind them with fancy covers.
I love that idea so much!!! Handmade gifts are always the best - it’s not just a single moment of purchase that the person spends appreciating you, it’s the entire time they’re making it!

I promise I only do it for videos 🙈
Haha I got Electronic candles for that reason, for my shelf specifically
Don’t forget a hot chocolate sachet for the mug 😊
YES, love a cosy hot chocolate!

Yes, been here since 2016! And thank you - I had to protect my coin 😂

I’m in Dorset, not too far from Bournemouth!
@@searchingforsamantha oh that's a lovely part of the country! ❤️
It is! My partner is from here which is how I ended up down here.

Yes for sure! I love the look of those. Not sure I’ve got the fine motor skills to do them well, but that’s neither here nor there 😂
Great List! Honestly watched bc I had everyone hounding me for my Xmas list and I needed ideas 😁
Haha love that - anything you’ll be adding? 👀
@@searchingforsamanthabookish legos 😁 but also the bookish trip has got me thinking
