I don't understand any of this except the adhd meds.
-Old Millenial
There is a reason gen x wasn’t involved in this conversation. Also, u looking for 6’5 in finance-ha! Cracking up-why do women not understand that you HAVE to choose what you actually want-good looking or good brains!
First of all I’m a banker and I’m a polite, cautious, and boring person. Second, I’m the lame kind of banker that deals with checking accounts and loans.
Sound system and not music is so fucking true. Literally describing my father. There's a reason he's twice divorced.
“Wine is not a drug. It’s good for your heart”
“So is grape juice”
😂
actually grape juice is better because it has the same benefit(s) without the consequences that excessive alcohol consumption has.
Just because I got my couch on Craigslist doesn't mean my sound systems not awesome..
"probably just after your Adderall prescription" wheewww
My brother is 6'7" and into Computer Security, but he's already married with 3 fur-babies.
Also you will find out SO much useless knowledge about his cars stats. He secretly knows nothing about cars but memorized the specs.
I think we're misunderstanding when they say 6'5".... I think they just mean 65. I think they are looking for Grandpa, someone they can convince that they love so that he will leave everything to them when he dies instead of his already existing children who were probably 15 years older than them...
As a xennial I related to both perspectives so much 😅. Also I wish vyvanse helped me, I am taking both an Xr adderall and a quick acting one, not fun
Brotip: Vyvanse is not just NOT addictive, it's actually the first known and scientifically tested effective replacement drug for meth addiction. People are claiming a drug that helps treat addiction is causing that addiction 🥳🎉
Finance bros are all awful, just different flavors of awful. Do you want "I'm too into drugs to work for a living so I gamble ahem I mean day trade" or do you want "I'm slightly more casual about my drug use and extremely boring. Also my dad got me this job at Goldman Sachs and his connections guarantee that I've never had to be accountable for anything in my life"?
So, Fishing for a giraffe in a mid west USA pond casting wool yarn and an ear ring from a putter club.
Maybe just buy a lotto ticket and see what happens there?
I actually do know a 6'5" guy in finance, but he has been with his spouse since grade school.
Okay but for reals I love how they're both trying to school younger generations on how the dating scene works.
I’m 6’-4
I really do dabble in trading
And I really do have an expensive sound system…. And I do love it.
I feel as if I’m being singled out here 😐
Grrr grrrr grrrrr Gen x are NOT boomers 😭 that’s OUR parents gen! Just like being forgotten at home and a latch-key kid? We’re forgetting here as well! 😂😢
Alchohol snot a drug, it’s a drink.
Protein powder definitely is a complete breakfast and I'm hurt
My dad was a blue collar worker. Retired a millionaire and a house in the Rockies. Just FYI. No college degree.
I can’t believe what a loser I am! Every one of the small group of women I don’t measure up. And after watching it several times, I also can’t figure out if I’m blessed or cursed.
I like how unrealistic body standards have come to men now...but I mean, it's not like there's a surgery to be so tall that I'm going to need back, neck, knee, and hip surgeries later on in life. Taller people also have more heart related issues. It's not like dudes can do something healthy to get taller.
But it's whatever. Enjoy your unrealistic standards from the comfort of your couch.
Gen X is laughing too hard to join the convos, I assume.
Although. I'm a millennial. I used to be married to a Gen Xer who was banned from day trading. Do not recommend.
I like these skits because they skip right over Gen X. Which is fairly accurate, because we just don't care. 😝
Sorry to ruin it but you're most likely getting some version of sound system in every man. For some it's cars, for me it's 7 guitars (haven't been able to afford more) and you name it.
I was always taught women look for a guy that makes them laugh. Or maybe it's just this country where they don't care much about profession.
What's wrong with a Craigslist couch? Reduce, reuse, recycle 😢
Still no GenX.. Boomsrs wouldn’t even entertain this conversation… Genx is really the forgotten generation…wow
As someone who worked in finance....why dafuq would you want someone in finance?
Money and slightly unhinged aren't a good combination.
Best to not elaborate but I stand by that
She says “I want a banker over six five”
I am a banker over six five who wants a genuine connection with a woman who doesn’t want me for my looks or money….
What’s that about men only being interested in one thing?
Oh right
We don’t need women’s money!!
So … how about a 5’10”, hand-to-mouth retail manager with a “wood shop” and a guitar addiction?
As a woman who has men who are 6 5 in her family...have that as a stipulation for getting a man is insane. No one is 6 5 I almost never see my brother stand next to someone and not be taller
420th
40+ in decent shape.. single, never married, no kids. I pass up 304's like a Geo Metro on the Interstate
There is a calculator for showing the ratio of your prefferred person(s).
You can put in their height, wage, age, race, etc. And it will tell yoy the approximate percentage of how many of those people are in your country/the world
I take vyvanse and I like it wayyyy better than adderall!!😭 it actually keeps me focused without ruining my ability to sleep
Hey now, I'm into my sound system AND the music. But I'm also in tech, not finance, so maybe that's why. 😂
You do not want a man who is 6’5” unless you are also very tall. You will feel like a child next to him if he is a foot taller than you. And it makes all the things difficult. Imo, 4-6 inches taller than you is the sweet spot. “Finance” isn’t bad, but a CPA, underwriter, or compliance officer are going to be more generally reliable.
Can confirm, have worked in banking 20 years. The higher their salary, the bigger the ego. And I've never seen one who was 6'5" with blue eyes.
Yes I doooo, it's great! i'm 5'0" and I love having a partner who's 6'5". Carries everything including me.
It's a meme from tiktok. "I'm looking for a man in finance, with a trust fund, 6'5, blue eyes"
And yet she refuses to cook for him, refuses to clean for him, refuses to pay for dates with him, expects him to treat her like a princess for simply existing while offering nothing of value and contributing zero to the relationship. Oh, and she expects him to be loyal to only her throughout all of this. Good luck, ladies of this generation!
Forgot trust fund and blue eyes 😂😂😂
So untrue, I’m a genz girl, and I’m too queer to be into men, very fake. Reported for misinformation.
6'5" and in finance lmao... all the people in finance are 5'5" and balding. Day trading is not "in finance".
