I saw your insta post on this a while ago. Was inspired but had no time, I just got my supplies today. And decided to search a more in depth YT video about it. Such a coincidence you posted this TODAY lmao😂
Thank you for this brilliant tutorial. I have seen people make these plaster paintings before, but none of them has been as good as yours. Your painting is the nicest one i've seen on TH-cam. You are very clear and easy to understand in your video. This was the first time I had seen one of your videos and I really like your relaxed method of teaching. I subscribed today and I will now.go and binge watch a whole lot of your previous videos. Also thank you for the links to the items you used in the video. They were very useful. God bless you and your loved ones. Have a great day!
I just came across you channel and am happy for that. I look forward to watching more of your videos. This piece is lovely and your tutorial is great, thank you! Thank you also for the links.
Hello! This is incredible thank you for sharing. I had a question about doing this on a large scale. Is it possible to put the cloth into a large mixture initially. Then for the second coat painting on by hand? Thank you for your help
This is so cool. I'm wondering if you keep the mixture thick; could it be piped through a frosting tip, like a cake decorating tip? And keep its shape?
Thanks! Yes check out my other tutorial th-cam.com/video/glzAxClJkPI/w-d-xo.html I think you’ll really enjoy that one. I just used spackle there when I’m piping, holds the shape and easy to shape
This is an awful question. I did my fabric on canvas and loved it. I then decided to put the Plaid gold on the high parts. Did not like it so tried to remove it. Not easy. So I decided to put gesso to cover it and it is lumpy and I don't care for it. How do I clean my fabric off to remove the gesso? Yikes, I loved it just with the fabric hardened. I tried sanding as well as using paint thinner but neither worked. I sure hope you can help me with this.
Hej Nicolina, Kunde du hjälpa mig med att vilken nyans av sprayfärg har du använt av Mariére? Tyvärr länken fungerar inte längre i beskrivningen. Tack på förhand 🙂
tried the wire technique but have not been totally happy. I think the issue is the wire I ended up with. This looks easy. I actually have some old sheets that would work well.
Thank you for sharing. Have you tested to see if the finished art piece cracks over a period of time say after 2 or more years? Secondly would you kindly do a video showing how you package the art pieces say to a client?
No problem 😊 I’ve only been doing this for about a year, no problem so far. Got me thinking about stucco’s which is made of plaster on people’s ceiling? Or spackle/wall filler in the walls? That doesn’t fall off 😊 So I’m hoping for the best lol 😃
Thanks for the response. You've actually given me some food for thought concerning the stucco and the fillers in the wall . . . I hadn't thought of that really
Hii! Big fan of your work and thank you for making very specific tutorials! 🌸 I wanted to ask, how would you do it if you wanted lets say only half of the canvas to be 3D? Just glue it with the gun? I just dont want it to fall on my head😂🙏🏼
Hello Viktorie! Oh thank you so much :D Yes you can glue down the fabric or staple it (and then cover with the mixture). The different ways to create with this is endless!
I don’t use only plaster so can’t speak for that. But some of mine has been hanging for over an year, time will tell but it’s made of sturdy materials 😊

any tips on what kind of towel to use?
The one I mentioned in the video, a kitchen towel 😍 Or a fabric/towel that has the same “stiffness” in it 😊

Yes I´ve tried many that is to hard to create shapes with! Fabric art is indeed easier :) Good luck and thanks for your support!

Don’t sell my pieces so I’ve never packaged them 🫶🏼

Hi! May I know if in this mixture you put the one with Gesso or without Gesso? Thanks in advance ❤
Hello! For this piece I used the mixture without the gesso 😊❤️
Can I ask what is the use of Primer?

Could you tell me if the plaster will crack over time, especially with gravity if I hang it on a wall
I don’t use only plaster so can’t speak for that. But some of mine has been hanging for over an year, time will tell but it’s made of sturdy materials 😊
Astounding work and so talented! Can you just share your "mix" here pls?
Thank you so much!! Yes I just uploaded it,
