- Right from our childhood, we would have heard a mysterious story about Vijayawada Kanaka Durgamma Several times that , "There is a cave beneath the present temple and there is a Durga idol in it which is very furious and only temple priests have access to that to offer Prasadam". Is that true? If yes, how to get access to that cave & idol?
Also there is another story that Adi Shankaracharya created another Durga idol at Mughalrajapuram caves and shifted Ugra Kala to that one ? Is it true? If yes, Where is that cave and idol?
