- I have been using the Yeti Rambler 18oz Water Bottle for years now, and after seeing mixed reviews online, I wanted to give you my two cents as well! So here are the things I do, and don’t like about this high-end, cup holder compatable, water bottle from Yeti!

I have the 18 with straw cap. It fits my bicycle bottle holder as well as the car cup holders.
I went on a 56 mile bicycle ride filled that thing with ice in the morning and water and refilled it throughout the day from water bottles just to use the same ice. It lasted the entire day in 90° heat.
Was delighted to find your review. I’m a buy-it-for-life kinda gal, and I REALLY appreciate hearing from someone who’s used the product for YEARS!
Glad to hear I could help!
Good review, thanks. I have had many water bottles starting with a simple Klean Kanteen and some months ago I got a camelbak with a straw/lid style which was good to use except for a critical flaw - the lid was in two parts with cavity. So eventually you're going to have a problem with stuff growing inside the lid; so for me that's a fail. I had a Yeti with the chug lid and didn't realise they had a straw system - doh! Anyway there were no lid/straw kits available so I got the blue straw lid combo - in my country that's fifty dollars. But absolutely worth it.
It can be cleaned easily and doesn't have any inaccessible places for stuff to grow, its angled handle is great (I've put a lanyard on mine) and you can source replacement straws/lids if needed. Also have to say I appreciate that it doesn't have a silicon bite valve that can get musty. And it fits into the bottle space of the Patagonia stealth.
That's great to hear! Sounds like you have done your research for sure. Being able to clean the lid of your water bottle is so important.
hi have you notice any black inside on the bottom?
I have not! How old is yours?
They do sell that cup and lid together. I just got mine yesterday and replaced the lid with the nice chugger with the magnetic lid. lol
Haha yeah, I think they started selling it soon after I made this review
@@Gear_43 The lids tend to match the color of whatever cup you bought too. The wave blue just came out, so that's my lid. I think I'll use it when I want ice.
just got the rescue red one with hotshot cap, LOVE IT already and ive only had it like half an hour..
Very cool, glad you like it!!
Now they come with straw caps in matching colors
Yeah, saw that! That is ideal for sure.
Im going to try the straw lid ! Ive used the chug cap but although its super easy to use i find with ice cold water it sweats !
Now I want a straw lid ❤
If you use it for coffee, how long would it stay hot or sort of hot?
I'll have to do some testing!
hi does this keep hot hot how long thanks you
I'll have to do some tests on that!
Tap water isn’t good for you. Should invest in a brita water purifier at least.
Thanks for that! I have a water filtration system for drinking water.

It looks like maybe they've discontinued the straw cap :(
Bummer!
If you don’t have the rambler to begin with you can buy it with the straw cap instead of the chug cap for the same price
No they didn’t.
