@@HellaBass thanks but struggling to part with my old Strstos. She a trustworthy beast lol besides I find myself using my kayak most of the time so tough to justify but never say never
Thanks for going over your setup. It definitely seemed to do well in some rough waters. Did you clean your reel? Next year should be exciting! Thanks to your camera person!
In your cooler, buy one of those cheap Styrofoam coolers. Then with a blade cut all the corners of it. Cut them to fit and put them in your cooler area and ice will last 10 to 12 hours in the heat. I live near table rock in missouri and it stands up to our summer days°
Great walk through! Looks to be tall guy friendly. I liked the way you use the smaller 3500 boxes. I find myself overloading boxes fishing out of a backpack. Are the stock compartment lights sufficient in the dark? Also curious how many rods could you run with on the co side? Looks like you could fit close to 9. Thanks for the content!
Got a question not related the to content of the video. Looking for a single rod for all types of 1/4-1/2oz but mostly 3/8-1/2 jigs but mostly casting and ball finesse with the occasional football jig or swim jig in a pinch. I bank angle in ponds and lakes with submergent and emergent grass and wood. Very few rocky sections. Reel TBD but looking at JDM Shimano SLX DC XT or Curado MGL 150 but open to suggestions on that as well. Have been considering the Expride B 7’2” MH or Megabass Orochi XX Braillist but 7’5” may be hard to cast at times from the bank
I have not fished a Brailist or Expride, but from what you are describing of the rods I own, my top pick would be a Dobyns Champion XP 744c Jig Rod Special - omnia.direct/DobynsXPfgc Hope that helps, plus visually it would look sweet with an SLX style reel
@@HellaBass thank you Sir for the quick reply. I just finished watching your video on that rod and was checking it out. Great review of that rod, so nice to see someone weigh rods. So little information on rod weights out there

What a great boat you got Rich- thanks for the comprehensive review!!👍🏻🙂
Great walk through. Awesome boat
Definitely making time for a second watch. Always good to listen to what others say is a priority
Been a fun build so far, still a few things to add
Good tour of the new boat.👍👍✌️
Thanks Tom, got two more items to add though
TWO PIRATES, left and right legged.
Dude you are always abount functionality..... Love it.... Beautiful ride.... Brother....!!!
Function catches fish!
Thanks for the tour, boat looks great!!
right on bud, thanks!
I really like the features and setup of that boat. I would definitely consider buying one. I didn’t see anything I don’t like. Well done
Thanks Kevin, if you are anywhere near In Tune Marine up here in MN, worth a look for sure

Busted, reel still needs to be cleaned, lol!
Interested in what you did with your cull clips. Double zip tie?

Good tip
Good call. I was going to suggest the same.
Beautiful boat...I run Allison but I really like Caymas
never been in an Allison, but they look cool
Awesome video. Lots of storage in the boat, and that deck looks spacious. I question you being 6'2". Lol.
I am a sloucher lol
Lol.
Great product, great company, great experience!!!
Can you estimate the total weight of boat and trailer as demonstrated in your video?
The 3700 waterproof boxes work good for plastics if you have scent on them won't leak out and the deep ones hold few more
I know some people like boxes for soft plastics, but not for me at this point
Diggin the velcro idea!!
stuff is super handy, finding lots of uses to bundle and organize stuff in the boat, garage, office cables, etc - amzn.to/3FrmtkC

Compartment lights in conjunction with cockpit lights are pretty good for rigging. Are you asking the area near the passenger seat for rods?
@@HellaBass yeah. Looks like the slots are pretty wide. Curious how many could "comfortably" ride there.
Yeah you could fit 9 in slots, three each row and then probably 3-4 with butts setting on top ledge
and as far as the cooler goes, it's true that it's not very good but some frozen bottles of water last a long time in it!
Brandon that is my usual when I am home or staying at a place with a freezer, much preferred than stopping & buying ice
first thing I noticed was your hickerbilly hat. Love it
thats a fun name, I usually just call it a customer visor
I would put a transom saver on all the new boats because the hulls are built more cheaply. You have a hydraulic saver but I would add a transom saver
Not true new boats don't use wood in there construction we use composite so they are stronger
I've heard some owners mention that their Caymas boats seems to have a tilt to one side..have you noticed that?
no sir
Greetings from the BIG SKY. Nice boat.

@@HellaBass subscribed and ready to see them. Thanks for the advice. Keep roasting those bento boxes.
🤘🤘🤘
So what anchors you getting? Also I am pretty sure you could get dinged for not having your throwable actually handy
Most likely Poles or Raptors, probably ruling out Talons. Kind of depends on the officer ;)
Nice set up!
🤘🤘🤘
super cool boat!
Few more pieces to add to make her complete
Nice looking rig.
Much appreciated Patrick!
Your camera man is excellent.
It was some pretty awesome camera work 👍🏻
except the sounds from adjusting the gooseneck lol
25.5 Bravo 1F four blade!!!
nice rig bro
Thanks 👍
What truth…was expecting some pro/con evaluation but instead we just got a boat tour.
I thought I mentioned my not so favorite things, the trailer, the cooler and the wiring tube. Otherwise I love the boat!
@@HellaBassNo, you didn’t mention anything but the cooler not holding ice. The title should have been, boat tour and set up after one year.
Price?
$80-85k is in the balllpark depending on features for a CX20 like this
How in the world can Earl Benz miss an important detail as an insulated cooler?
Maybe in the newer models they got it dialed
It is a sweet ride. One day I'll have one. One day
Thanks Will, took me a long time & lots of work to put myself in a position where I felt comfortable pulling the trigger on this rig.
Electrician tape will work too.
For what?
Super super JELLY brosepb.
just start putting that Bento money into a savings account 😜
That whiteboard is a great idea!! So can I drive it?? lol kidding kidding I swear!!!!
Yes, but only under direct supervision 😄

I heard caymas is going out of business soon
Had not heard the same
These boats will all be In the junk yard while my repowered 2004 521vx will still be going .
Bold proclamation Pete, glad you love your rig!
