I purchased the machine, it's working great so far. Started a quilt and it's 1/4 done now. Great video, you have a great voice for making video's easy listening on the ears. I going to sub.
Have had mine about a month.. still getting use to it..looking for drop,in sewing table. Bought extension table from sew steady…hope to find get started video. Thanks. Watched this one twice and learned some things already..
I’m so glad you’ve found this helpful! Over the next week or so I will be releasing videos about features, navigating the electronic menu, and so much more.
I bought the Allegro sewing machine and just love it. However, can’t find the scant 1/4 inch for quilting. It usually moves far to the right or left and not just 1 or 2 threads over for a scant 1/4 in. Can you help? Thank you so much. Loved your video. 34:54 move 1 or 2 threads over for a scant but it doesn’t do it. Can you help? Thanks so much.
@@fullbloomfibers Thank you so much and I have! When I called customer service the sales lady did say that the tension is not automatic and needs to be set for whatever sewing project you are doing whatever that means. I would like to use it for regular sewing as well just now confused about how to adjust the tension for various projects. Your videos are so helpful thanks for all you do seriously you are a God send for self taught newbies!!!!
Hi Nicole, I have a Solaris, a Janome M7, a Janome 4021 (my travel machine) and a Baby Lock Soprano in my shop. I love them all but the Soprano is too small, too hard for me to change the needle as I have a bit of a handicap with my left hand. Does the Allegro have more space and height around the needle area? I think I like the size of this beautiful machine.
Can you move the needle left or right? And what are the two holes to the right of the needle plate? Looks like you can screw something into place there. Maybe a seam guide?
Hi! I’m so glad you liked the video. This machine is amazing, you’re gunna love it! The quilt behind me is based on a pattern by Pieces Just Sew called Ophelia. th-cam.com/video/89YQetXxmmY/w-d-xo.html
@@fullbloomfibers Hi Nicole, Have you started to make videos on using the Allegro as yet? I have my machine and I'm quite intimidated. I did subscribe to your channel but have seen nothing.
Hi. Need more videos showing how to use it. I got mine and it’s intimidating 😊. Love it but having a hard time figuring it out. Can you move the needle to do scant quarter inch?
I’m happy to help! Over the coming week I’ll be posting a ton of videos, from threading and bobbin winding to setting tension and 1/4” seams. Make sure you hit subscribe so you get a notification when the videos are posted.
Thank you for your video. Mine just arrived and I am having to create a new sewing space for it because it is such a plus sized girl! I am eager to see any more info you provide. Love your enthusiam and that you didn't waste my time.

Seriously considering this machine and I mostly do garment sewing. Dressmakers will also be buying this machine.
I’m planning on buying it. I should pick it up on Thursday. 😊
You’re going to love it!!!

@@tiffanywebb7486 you’re too sweet! I’ll be sure to address some of these things over the next week!

It absolutely has more space. This machine has 12” of space to the right of the needle, size wise it’s much closer to the Solaris than the Soprano.
Can you move the needle left or right? And what are the two holes to the right of the needle plate? Looks like you can screw something into place there. Maybe a seam guide?
These are great questions. I’ll make a video about that this week!
What's the quilt pattern behind you?
I'm still waiting on my machine. I like your unboxing. It was very detailed.

There is a Getting to Know Your Machine video from SewEd, one of the classes with the 60 day free trial, and it was very helpful.
