Let’s admit; most of us tried doing a scrapbook/journal that’s really cute or nice, but it turned out bad and had to do it again (sadly, i also tried and it never worked out 😔)

@@gleamyy4452 sorry, I am not from the USA or Korea, so all these journaling supplies are bit hard for me to collect.
Tips if you don't have all that decorative stuff:
1. We all have normal white paper or coloured paper right? You can always use that!
2. The best thing you can do is use things that are around you like leaves, pictures and that stuff.
3. Be sure to write the date!
4. You can also write quotes!

When I do a scrapbook, I actually write on it but it seems like most TH-cam scrapbooks are just for aesthetics. 🤔

Never got the point of a scrapbook, just looks like a hoarder’s book when people tell them to organize all the stickers and random pieces of paper they have in their nightstand and are just looking for somewhere to put them but can’t find where so they just throw it into a book they bought for $5.95 on November 2, 2006 and never used again.
Just my opinion though.
Exactly gurl like you're only stickeing them into some random papers you'll write a few words thats all. I never really got the point of scrap books too.
I totally understand, but usually when I think of scrapbooking, it’s not just the decor. My grandma scrapbooked and I have one that she made around the time I was born, she decorated it, but also put many photos to remember that time. It’s nice to look back on.
@@strawberrykit yea. That sounds amazing too. Tbh, although I don't get the idea of scrapbooking, I feel like if u decorate it the way shown in the vid and add photos which hold special memories, that will be more cool. Idk I just like that idea ig but I'm too broke to even have a scrapbook
@@strawberrykit if it's scrapbook with photo, I love it. I want to try to make it someday. With photo & some words of memory of that moment. Then decorate it. But if it's just like this.. and they called it journal.. some people even didn't put stickers with nice quote. Or write anything, even the day. Maybe they remember days or moments with colors / patterns? That's why it's just stickers and papers..

For someone who is from India and wants to buy journal supplies you can stock up from Crafter's kart, it's comparatively cheap. I recently bought items from there and loved them. They are super cute and affordable. You need to save some decent amount of money though. Collecting items for journal is a stepwise process. You cannot buy things at once.
I love it! It can be expansive but I realized that if you are like me its not too bad if you buy the supplies over time, I started with the basics and built up over time.

-get masking tape or normal transparent tape and sketch pens or other colored pens
-draw any pattern of choice
