You absolutely did the right thing with the car it is more drivable durable reliable more economical and better performance than even the 375 horsepower 396 if both are stock with good maintenance and not beating the living snot out of it constantly it will out live any old style small or bigblock chevy engine probably twice as long the 6 bolt mains in the LS chevy bolts the crank to the block very tightly with no stretch or flex as it spins even at 6 or 7 thousand rpm no vibrations or shaking going on smooth as can be
Any way to get the parts list linked up in the description? I'm about to tackle in the next week or two and it would probably help tons of people out in the future.

@waltergaines201 no problem, you're welcome. I'm pretty sure his interior is stock except the Dakota Digital Gages, and he has the vintage air. But his style is always to appear stock. The only thing that would be different is if someone reupholstered the car. It was a 307 V8 car. He simply LS swapped it and changed the transmission to 4L60 and now a 4L80.
They are musclerods ceramic coated long tube headers. 1 7/8" primaries. The headers work with their motor mounts and tranny mounts. The fit very well. No clearance issues. My Nova had manual steering from the factory.

I hear you. We're talking about cars 60+ years ago. You'd have to strip down the interior on these newer cars and put a nasty motor in them to get that old skool feel back! I hipe yoy enjoy the channel and subscribe and share with your gearhead friends. Thanks for watching 🏁🔥🏁🔥💯💯
Oh snap. It’s insane how calm they stayed after he lifted the hood 🤯
Can't wait to finish my 69 nova...I went big block efi over LS swap hope I don't regret it ..nice built
It all depends on what you want. Should be a nice build either way.
Thanks! Good luck with your build
@@cars_and_stuff thanks, I hope to have it done and swapped when I return!
I built a 454 for my 73 and all I can think about is an ls fuel economy
Kool ride ..I prefer the nostalgia of carburetor and big block ..and the Era of the time ..my 2022 is my fuel injection with all modern gadgets..lol

Thank you! I'm impressed with the performance for a stock engine. I enjoy driving it regularly
The hardest part finding a 68-72 nova under 10,000 dollars that isn't a complete rust bucket.

This video reminds me of my dads 69 nova with a 350 small block in it that he had back in the 70’s or 80’s

Very sweet. Any tunnel mods for the 4l80E?
Thanks! As far as I know, it fot the tunnel without modifying the car.

Keep the 307 emblems use a exhaust system that flows well without being to loud at idle is very cool in my opinion
Thanks! I like to be sneaky
Did the trans tunnel fit the 60e and the 80e or was it modified
He ended up putting a 4L80 in it, and it fit the trans tunnel! No modifications to the tunnel that he mentioned.

does it still have the stock power steering, what headers are those?
