Thanks for the comparison. For now, I’ll stick to the Laplander (which I already have) as it’s lighter and more portable and I don’t do a whole lot of wood processing. The gerber looks like a good tool though, I’d consider it if I do end up processing more and more wood.
Freescape cutting stroke is forward stroke while the laplander cutting stroke is backward stroke...on the freescape you push down in the forward strokes while on the laplander you push down in the backward strokes
