They should make hurricane drains that have a shredder or some other means to unclog itself automatically periodically or remotely

If you guys are real meteorologists, then you should check the water temperature on the east side of Florida and realize that as soon as that hurricane gets into the water on the Atlantic side. It's going to suddenly gather strength again and it's most likely going to make a turn to go north because of the different jet streams. You guys do understand what's going to happen? This hurricane is going to turn up north and it's not going to go out to sea like you think. It's going to make a turn and it's going to hit Georgia it's going to hit South Carolina. Remember the water temperature is what gives the hurricane strength. Without going into detail if for some reason the temperature high up in the air is much cooler then you are going to have a stronger hurricane that's going to go in a crazy direction with the jet stream and since it's going counterclockwise it's going to go north. You might want to warn the people in South Carolina and also Georgia over there. If I'm wrong then the hurricane is just going to go out into the ocean. But if I'm correct you guys can warn somebody instead of sitting there on the East Coast of Florida pretending to do something with the weather. You might actually save some lives. That you won't report on how there was no gasoline for two days from Lakeland FL all the way to Georgia.. But it's okay we already know just like you probably didn't report the fact that they shut the bridges down with 10s of thousands of people still on the highway. How come you guys don't report that.

Since when do hurricanes head east in a straight line right at Florida make landfall and beeline north doing as much destruction as possible in my 52 years it's never happened this way it's very strange has anyone noticed this or what

We're in a tent in the woods with two dogs.. Very few shelters take pets and none anywhere near us..
We're just going to drop the tarps on top of us and hope for the best..

The cold is definitely not easy either. These people talk like snow is so wonderful…it’s not. Car accidents, closed roads, icy surfaces, cars shutting off from sub zero temperatures, accidents or accidents when shoveling snow, frostbite etc.
@@colinquinn7516 if you get snow from maryland and below it's dangerous to have 2 inches of snow as ppl don't knwo how to drive in it. I'm much further north and it's a piece of cake. When a snow storm hits you enjoy the snow day at home. Hurricanes on the other hand, have to worry about losing your entire house every year and evacuations.

Why is the state not utilizing part of the southbound interstate to evacuate and lessen the congestion in northbound lanes?
I wondered that also but there has to be a southbound lane for emergency crews maybe.
It's been tested before and failed.. It's too dangerous, and we have all different types of vehicles heading our way with gas, supplies, line workers, emergency, etc..

I was abt 10 yrs old when Hurricane Carla came through. It was night time, and we were at enough elevation that there was no storm surge. However, the sound of the wind, the pounding rain, the whole house shaking....it was terrifying not being able to see what was going on! This one is much worse. GET OUT!

I took us19 from tarpon springs to Alabama yesterday. Left around 7:30pm and encountered zero traffic. It was crazy

Yes, they did move most of them. The others will be in hurricane proof structures that are in place. They have a significant plan in place just for these emergencies! I saw them loading some animals in cages to transport them to safety.

Anyone who reads this I urge you to research Hurricane Michael Oct 2018 it was a cat 5 when it hit Florida. This Hurricane Millton is identical to Michale. Even the pic are from Micheal. We have had more cat 5 hurricanes, but they say here that this is the only one in I think he said 60 years. Please check Micheal out because something just isn't right.
I saw that hurricane it engulfed a complete house went under waters cars engulfed too floating with the house under water. Milton is worst has tornado too traveling with it over 300 miles wide

And bring them where? Alot of those boats don't have trailers. Plus the logistics of that much more traffic on the roads during a mass evacuation. Its just not feasible.
Where is the best place for a boat? In the water. There is Specail ways to tie down for storm surge and then hope for best. On land they become projectiles.

So lucky that the storm didn’t have enough room to build into a very large cat 5… they will still get hit hard. And a bit lower south then Tampa. If you are on the water and still haven’t evacuated go inland even if it just 20 miles. Just evacuate
