I never thought it was a "horrible" reaction from the hibs supporters. I didn't blame them! I'm a life long Celtic supporter and thought it was natural that they'd react that way after over a century! That Scottish cup final will always be special to me. I felt like a Hibernian supporter that day.

I don't see a problem with the Hibs supporters going onto the pitch. History was made and they were exstatic so completely understandable. It's the Rangers fans that had no place on that pitch other than to cause trouble.
The losing fans should go home, why is it always "disgraceful" when fans celebrate winning against rangers, go watch rangers celebrating at Pittodrie when they won the league and listen to the difference in the commentary, hypocrites, well done the Hibees, and well done the fans.
Like at the Cup Winners Cup final in Barcelona in 1972, or Pittodrie in 1987, when the Rangers fans trashed the place? Some people have short memories! I think there's a saying about a pot and a kettle and another about glass houses! Commentator was also embarrassing comparing a few hundred fans having a run at each other, to the thousands who rioted in the celtic rangers final. I was on pitch with whole family and never felt threatened. In fact I knew nothing about the so called trouble until I woke up next morning and read about it in the papers. Some credit to Miller who at least came out and said the reports of Hibs supporters assaulting all the Rangers players was ridiculous.
