@@ManDad_1964 I have the complete set. I also have the 41 & 37 sets. I am working on the 40 & 38 sets. I want to do the 36 & 39 sets someday. I already have the 36 satin nickel. Proof Buffalos are pricy. Especially the two 36 nickels. My 42 silver nickel has some killer toning.
Be careful with those sets I never bought any the early sets like before 1950 but I had 50 sets from 50 to 64 and spent quite a bit on them and looked thru thousands sets hand picking them out never found any ultra cameos found 14 cameo and star cameo sets had a really nice 64 and 64 accented hair and I got sick spent 2 months in ICU while in hospital my wife needed money and took them to LCS and dang sure did not get any where near what I had in them now they were all hand picked still in raw in the envelope but the coin shop didn’t even give her more for the 64 accented hair just treated it like a 64 set I was upset by I understood she had to do what she had to do but I was upset with my local coin shop more because I bought them from them most of them any way so just be careful ok don’t over pay go to NGC website and take there retail price and take 45 percent off that figure and that is what the coin shop will buy it back for crazy I can see losing a few bucks
Bud you are wayyyy off on your mintage numbers. Check again
@michaeltutterow I checked again,(not really) and I’m still right. I’ll check again tomorrow, and let you know if anything changes.
@@ManDad_1964😂😂 right! Tell him tho, with a word of caution, that anytime in the future, the answer is still gonna be the same.

Nice set. Good luck finding the War Nickel.
I’m looking for a deal, they are pricey.

@@donaldinnewmexico Oh wow, you have some very nice sets there. Yes, those buffalo proofs are up there. Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate it.
You got a good start there
🤠👍
I hope to one day have a 1942 proof set
Nice thing is you can buy one coin at a time. The same way the were issued back in ’42
I have a 1942 proof quarter that is a frosted cameo. I bought it raw for a good price. It is at least a PF65 and might even grade out at a PF67.
@glennmillerfan Very nice!
I think proof coins were expected to have full bands, full steps. No need to put designation on label.
That makes sense.

I always go by auction results as a guide on how much I will pay.
