Tomorow my first Day at work. I never had any school about this, never worked this, never tried it, never seen it, I know nothing about it. *Good luck me*
@@mattblyth8890 ✋ 42 days now since i started, its hard not gonna lie i work 10 hours a day its tough job also.... First 10 days i wanted to quit any secound.... Now its better im geting into it
Serbian Ultras same this will be my first winter. I started in the summer sucked because I packed a lot of bar and had my first heat stroke cramped up bad but got through it. I also got over my fear of heights even after a man fell off a wall onto my boots it was crazy but always have safety on my mind. Lol anyway brotha keep on keeping on rod buster gang💪🏻
Hello Lisa my name is Cyril I have been following you for some time on TH-cam I love your video your work I myself have been a shipbuilder for 20 years for a large French company located in Marseille I would like to have information concerning hiring at your place
Waylon Israel I work with both iron workers and rod Buster's. To be honest you both are rite in a way they are the rod Buster's but it does have to do with the iron. So shake hands or fucking fight it out you scabs...
Rodbusters are Ironworkers and for u to say they are not is an ignorant thing to say and ur obviously not an ironworker if u say rodbusters aren't Ironworkers!! Cause they are some of the hardest working Ironworkers in the trade dude!! Shit I know rodbusters that will knock u out for saying that shit!! But I'm a union ironworker from a mixed local we do all parts of ironwork in our local!! Local 155 Fresno,ca !!!
Steffen Zimmerman it is when you sign up to become a ironworker that’s part of what they teach you don’t listen to anyone that says rebar isn’t part of being a ironworker
Ya rebar is the reinforcing part of ironwork, but there's alot more to do than just rebar!! There's alot of different things to do if ur an ironworker!! Structural, connecting, decking, post tensioning, ornamental,etc... Alot of options in the trade!!
Certain halls only do one like for example this hall seems to only do reinforcing some only do structure etc but some halls do it all which my hall 787 does it all so I could either do rebar or go connect or work a bridge job hell even work a plant job doing furnace jobs it depends on the work that’s offered to me but what the hall does depends on if they are a do it all or only do certain jobs, example go to New York you’ll probably just be connecting and bolt bang slinging some iron
been since 2005 i started union.real professional.i would fired that guy with 7 rebar 10 mm not evan knowing where to put it.dangerous on a slab lol grow up..
The 25 second intro was way, way to froofy. After watching that, I wanted to go to hair dresser school, not work in the trades. Reinforcing steel, steel erection, miscellaneous metal erection within a building (stairs, hand rails, bar joist, decking, etc), curtain wall or window wall, ornamental iron, decorative facade work, art work erection, shop work, set up cranes, build tower cranes, post tension, tower erection ... and I am just getting started. Ironworking is a bit more than 'two aspects'. I am not trying to put down the female ironworker; she didn't write the script. But if the producers really wanted to make a good show, they could have been more accurate. And lose that intro.

Wow! Very unrealistic depiction of this trade
Dro Furick yes video don’t really give A very realistic look of a rod busters
that ain't no mexican group she with
Dro Furick how so? I mean it seems laid back but her description of the different aspects of the job are spot on.
Terrence Suriyamongkol it’s a lot rougher and you don’t need any education
@@jcguevara4465 thats how Canda works no need to fucking always rushing . if everyone said no they can't do anything we are union after all
Why is no one wearing safety glasses??!

Hello how can i apply a job? I'm a steelfixer here in japan under trainee visa next year i will finish my contract, do you have a website?

#11 rebar
what about the screaming what about very unrealistic its much more fast pace much more high intensity
Just like in the military. They won't tell you the ugly aspects they don't want you to hear about before getting in
Hi mam am sagar from india I con get work here

Says Ironworker on my pension check, besides, what's all your red iron sitting on? Oh ya, my footings, without our ironwork you're sitting at home.
@@roddiener a slap in the face to the arrogant structural worker!!
Lol this broad is carrying 3 sticks of #5 and is moving like a damn turtle. As a man you're expected to carry twice that and not drag your damn feet.
My guy like to team carry 4 bars of #4. But I'm just a foreman and can't do anything about it.
Rod busting breaks weak iron workers. go back to laying deck or connecting.
I thought ironwork was structural, reinforcing, architectural, and ornamental.

Whatever the contractors need, an ironworker will make it happen.
