@@NachoJoker I think because he has a very distinctive sound. He just can't change it. Much respect to ARP for never changing with the times. He also had the same singer for nearly 30 years also.
Some say that ARP is not evolving, he's not changing his style and he is playing the same song for decades, changing lyrics. And i say if a food is great, why change its recipe, or ingredients? Axel is playing his music, if someone likes it, he will stay, if not, he'll go. Why all this buzz? I mostly speak about music press here, in Greece, dont know if this is happening in other countries too. For me ARP is the most loyal music friend i can find all these years. Steady, without strange inputs. I like his style and i love him for it. My kid brother, never liked Axel, and marked me for liking him, having the above idea. In his last days (he saddly passed on February) he took time to listen to ARP. He loved him! Now i love ARPs music even more. I have an even deeper connection with his music. And yes, new music from him is like water in the desert for me. A way to contact with my brother again. Thanx Ax!!
I've been a die hard fan of Axel since 2008 and I can say for sure that his quality dropped a little since 2014, he created masterpieces since the 1990s but when Mike Terrana left the band, the songs became lazy, the lyrics and melodies became a lot simpler, take songs like Sea of Evil, The masquerade ball, Mystica, Dark waves of the sea, dreaming dead, ashes from the oath and compare it with anything he made on 2014 and after... don't get me wrong, I love into the storm and Game of Sins, but they don't compare to his earlier works
I know what you mean. However no one complained when AC/DC had members come and go, their music has been very similar from 1979-2024 They never changed fads/trends and I'm happy to report Axel Rudi Pell is similar. I do know what you mean though, most of my FAVS are prior to 2014.
For all of you who said that It's always the same music, blah - blah - blah... Just don't listen to it. There are people who love Axel for exact that reason. 🤘
