Absolutely One that just adds general anthro options of a bunch of races, an anthro deathclaw mod, an anthro Skyrim dragon mod, Argonians and Khajiit from Skyrim with voice lines, multiple Sonic mods (including one for custom character parts from Forces), some Fortnite anthros, etc. Not to mention that anthro snakes are already in the vanilla game, and there are mods to make them playable, even the one from the sequel It's _awesome_

The cinematic reveal trailer for this game was well made and stylish. I do wonder why they haven't replicate it as close to it for the gameplay. Especially when the in-game dialgue cutscenes have something similar to it.
It does say "pre alpha"; usually the thing you wanna nail first in a game is the gameplay first and THEN the look. It's probably just meant to be a showcase of what you can expect to spend your time on. Remember those leaks for GTA 6?

wish all these developers the best, their past games look nice as well. played the demo for moses & plato and loved the style. you fellas have been carving a whole genre of anthro-noir games and perhaps we'll see in the future if it eventually inspires others to follow.
Looking good so far! As others have mentioned, the 3d character models don't have the same cartoonish snappiness as their (presumably) cutscene counterparts. As for their visual aesthetic, I think all they're missing is some smart cel shading to keep parity. I probably won't play this myself (time and skill issue), but I love the designs, and would love to see people playing this!
Ouch thoughs 3D animations are..... Not good. The sheeps bat swing imedeatly stuck out to me as having no weight or momentum. The guys falling over at the end was also just so weightless, so ironically lifeless. Maybe ahould of just out the awsome 2D animations into the 3D world.
I can appreciate this game is still pre alpha, which is probably why the gameplay is a LOT of quick cuts away from the CG models. The animations are very stiff and lifeless and weightless. There's a lizard near after the Sheep meekly swings his baseball bat into the air where a guy is standing and the bad guy lays down generically. The tail on the lizard is T-pose straight. All that stuff should be cleaned up or given more life before launch (I would hope) Next, the character models. I don't see these being all fixed because there are so many. The models look only vaguely like their 2D counterparts. Look at the fennec. There's so much style in their expressive face in the 2D. The 3D could be any generic fennec. The 2D has longer skinnier ears in the profile pic, their cheeks stick out sideways more, and the top of their head is less wide between the ears. The shapes are so out of whack. Maybe if you change the lighting to a more cellshaded look, you could preserve the cartoony look more? IDK, but it is making the game look rushed and cheap. I'm happy we got some gameplay but this needed to look closer to the finished product if it isn't. If it is, I'm sad. This doesn't get me excited for the game and could probably have waited for a more complete product. Unless you were looking for reactions to see if people care enough about the flaws? Goodluck, I honestly hope for the best for your game.
I think all I could ask for is if the in game models were just a little closer to the animated characters. But that's me being picky. Still excited for this game nonetheless!
I would love if the character were 2D in a 3d stylizes environment. To mimic the animation which is 10 times more iconic and charming. For example 3d objects could have borders like a comic book and more vibrant colours.

i look forward to more agents in the game based on other animals like Rodents, Mephitidaes, Mustela, canids, felines, Pantheras, snakes, maybe even insects joining the fray. while i know "into hive" basically set up the premise for this game i am not sure if the game would follow canon events. i can imagine Sonny and Marty would be bonus agents, maybe unlockable. And i have to agree with the comments, player models could use a little work toon work more like it. So it complements the 2d art style used in the interface and the animated trailer (maybe cutscenes)

I love the artstyle, very fun and animated characters! It reminds me of Sly Cooper, very comic booky, with the solid black shadows and such. If you would like my feedback, the 3d sections should mirror that style, basically Sly Cooper again, with flat colors, solid black shadows, and cell shading! It would look fantastic! And i mean the original 3 Sly Coopers, not the 4th. You could even have a similar set up animation style, with simple animations in a comic book panel, but im getting carried away, sorry. Still, would look great with the art direction it looks like you're going! Good luck to you all! Ill definitely buy the game when it done and dusted!😊

An isometric turn-based character driven tactical *furry* game? I've never expected a game tailed to my exact niche taste! Im very interested. But hey, even if you do 2.5D like Wyldremyth character, try to keep the cartoon element in the game and double down!

I remembered a fanfic where Zootopia meets Modern Warfare story. Not really a crossover. But more like furries as Military. Also comes with diff campaigns. I also thought of the Honey Badger who has most guts to fight and habit of smoking. Also flirting with women… coz on of their team members is a female Hyena punk. Unfortunately much to the Badger’s dismay, she has a girlfriend…. Lol.
So if there’s ever going to be a sequel of this game Are they going to make the characters look a little bit more like they’re 2-D counterparts I’m not hating the game. I’m just saying that they’re 3-D characters designed needs a little work.
Nice! Zootopia/Lackidaisy/Lone Digger the Xcom clone finally has real gameplay. Even if it's pre-alpha it looks really good. I can't wait to pre-order this next year! I just hope it gets a Switch port when it comes out of beta.

Either the character modeler or the 2d animator missed the memo and i say the modeler needs to push the shape language more

some of the animations look like they were taken from free animation packs, very likely just placeholder (this is pre-alpha footage after all]

Honestly I think if you could implement the art style of the cutscenes into the gameplay art style it could be more appealing.
