You prolly dont care but does anyone know of a method to get back into an Instagram account?? I somehow lost my login password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me
a lot of shooting coaches can learn from you. instead trying to teach people one way to shoot you show different methods for achieving maximum results. i love it man!!!
OMG I broke my jumper so many times because of my bad muscle memory, and because of this video I didn’t just learned how to shoot like my favorite basketball player , I learned the drills. Thank you 🙏
I remember when I first subscribed to ya 4 years ago. Your content was evolved, and gotten a lot better. I really appreciate all the detail that I can tell you put into your videos. Keep up the great work Collin!
Thank you, thank you. The part where "he starts the ball from the left of his body to his set point" breakdowns solves my inconsistency and inefficiency. Thank you coach, keep up the good things
How nice . i just realized that people argue whose better between curry and irving but they're both just wanted to be the NBA champion . lets just respect them . #NBArespect
The one problem that affects some players is that when they bring the ball up on the left and transfer it to right (right -handed shooter), it encourages a flying right elbow. Your arm naturally wants to hang down next to the edge of your right leg. Standing slightly open to eliminate tension in the right shoulder, then bringing the ball straight up encourages the ball reaching the set point without any rotation (twisting) of the right arm, which requires additional timing. Your arm ends up under the ball naturally and simply extending your arm from the perpendicular position with the upward movement of your legs, either in a one motion or two motion action, is about as simple and repeatable as you can make a shot. The rest of Kyrie's shot is spot on and explained perfectly by Collin.
If you practice handles on uneven floor it helps ball control, makes the ball unpredictable similar to Kyrie’s wrapping the ball in a plastic bag training
Great video, I've been struggling finding a good shooting form to use, I've tried so many different set points and release points and all that, I think these will help me out
ur the best coach ever coach C. u r willing to help other ppl knowing tht it doesn't rlly benefit u. Watching ur videos I have increased my shooting percentage greatly and became an respected shooter. without u coach I would've never learned the keys to becoming a good shooter. I got from never being able to make a basic pickup team, to being able to play AAU
i first thought my shot line was wrong but now i realise other shooter like kyrie also does this kind of shot line, i'm glad dat im watching ur vid shotmechanics :D
my shot has always been a little bit off to the right and I've never known how to fix it. But after I tried bringing the ball up the left side of my body my shots are dead on every time. Thanks for making the video it's already been a tremendous help
Dude thankyou im considering buying your stuff because i followed your advice on different video and this one and averaged from 10ppg to 18ppg with more assists and blocks
anyone else notice how much kyries form has changed since he came back from the injury? its like now he aims at the rim before he pulls and he jumps a bit higher than before. also his feet used to be real close when he jumped now they are more spreaded. ive noticed
I used to love his shot form but then i noticed after the injury its changed and I think he's pointing his toes at the rim now and although his mid range game is still amazing his 3 point shooting is receding in my opinion he's not as comfortable as he used to be
I noticed all this too. but it definetley isn't receding anymore. any player especially shooters coming back from injury will have a tough time recovering their skills. right now it seems he has reverted to his old form slightly. his feet as a little closer together and toes are more turned rather than pointing to the rim and because of that his 3 percentage is looking really good. mid range has gotten even more deadlier imo
I just hope this video is accurate because my jumper is similar to his but idk what happened my jumper just slowly faded away. trying to get it back rn
About the set point mechanic - Guys like Durant and Kyrie pull the ball to the opposite side due to being left eye dominant, but right handed. Bringing it to the left helps with depth perception and getting the ball truly lined up.
im cross eyed dominant and i noticed that KD is also, and i believe kyrie... is that why they start their shot from the left hip. i miss shots often more than others shooting from right hip cause im right handed but left eye is dominant.
Love these longer detailed videos coach C👍. As a celebration on congratulating Kobe Bryant for a great career can you make a blueprint on Kobe scoring mentality(not shooting mechanics but his moves on the post and sometimes off the dribble) putting drills to improve post game fadeaway and pull ups??
+ShotMechanics I think Kyrie Irving has a little bit of a 1 and a half motion shot. I say this because he doesn't have the pure one motion that people like steph curry has, but it functions in the same way. Also, he jumps a good amount more than many people that have more pure one motion shots.
Coach C., you should do a Damian Lillard or a Klay Thompson blueprint or just anyone of the top 10 players of 2016. Since they were the best shooters of 2016, you might as well do one of those and make a blueprint out of it.
I really enjoyed the two blueprint videos you have done so far, Good work! I was wondering if you could make damian lillard shot blueprint video I really like his release and would like to use a shot like his.
Do you think Kyrie's shot line is off to the side because of when trying to draw fouls he is able to after getting used to the irregular motion that he is able to draw the contact and get the shot off with a better chance at going in rather than just throwing it up there manymant other players do?
Shooting the ball consistently is one of the hardest things. Due to improper muscle memory. But I will say the only real applicable thing at least to me was the thumb push. Kyrie doesnt sometimes shoot with the thumb. He always does. Thats extra push helps I feel with guidance and with tougher deeper shots. I recently discovered I hit more shots with it. And I sat there and asked do any players shoot like this? And kyrie is one of them.
Hey coach, I am trying to search this kyrie irving shooting form blueprint and it says that it is 11:05 mins where it is really 14:10 mins. Can you reupload the video?? Thanks a lot
Can you do a video on how to properly hold the ball for a jumpshot? I am an index finger shooter but I feel a lot of the times my shooting hand is on the side of the ball too much instead of being in the middle of the ball.
Not sure how anyone could dislike this video. Keep doing what you're doing coach. You're the man.

Hey add Brandon Roy to that list! One of the Forgotten Greats that succumbed to injury...
Does playing at the gym vs playing in an uneven rocky backyard affect your practice and your game?
evon gocan for shooting it dosen't matter, but if your practising your handels it wont be good. :)
Hell yea
I mean the different angles of the floor can catch you off guard and train your reaction so it can be good.
I mean yea cuz of traction and grip and you dont get to really work on footwork
If you practice handles on uneven floor it helps ball control, makes the ball unpredictable similar to Kyrie’s wrapping the ball in a plastic bag training
Anybody else here after seeing what Kyrie did to Steph.
LOL yeeeep

First, thank you and is it possible to have James Harden's Blueprint ?
tru
James harden sucks
James harden sucks
Defense or offense? I'd prefer defense
+G-Money 123445 Defense? What defense? And for the James Harden blueprint, I don't think he'll be able to do it. Harden shoots with his left.
Thanks to SHOT MECHANICS now I can shoot like Kyrie Irving thanks a lot........ ✌✌👌👍
keep the blueprints going! really great job at in depth shooting techniques
The delayed set point is great, gives you more time to aim. But it takes a while to get comfortable w it

what do you think about watching the flight of the ball ?
