I've been experimenting with refiring on mid-to-high fire stoneware with underglazes and lowfire opalescents -- can be very beautiful depending on the combinations. (Most of the items are either iron-oxided white stoneware that wasn't glazed initially on the outside, such as with keepsake vials, beads/pendants, and similar, or refires of similarly-glazed items, which again can be pretty depending on the exact combos used.)
