This is one of those titles you KNOW you read as Necrodancer first, then changed the D to an M literally as you pressed play and found out it wasn’t related 😭
I played this game recently and I would recommend it with a few caveats. The gameplay itself is good but feels somewhat unfulfilled. The concept of being able to resurrect fallen enemies and have them fight for you is really cool, but isn’t really that effective in execution as resurrected enemies just meander around unless they have something to fight. It would have been cooler if you could command them to attack like in Pikmin. The narrative however is really good. I don’t want to spoil it but, it’s a really touching story about two girls who start as acquaintances but eventually grow closer and become lovers. Also the voice acting is very well done.
Man I was playing the randomizer the other day and casually found a giratina sleeping in what the randomized replacement for Steam Cave was. Real salty I couldn’t recruit him haha

Yeah I'll give this a shot. Looks fun, but it sucks that it's only local co-op during quarantine times. However, I know nothing about making games and imagine it was hard enough working through covid to release this. Congrats to the studio and the team behind this.
As someone who backed this on Kick Starter, I gotta say.. This game is fun, but, has a lot of issues that might turn people away. It starts off hard, but.. After you find a good weapon and smith some good stuff on it, you'll basically never struggle, ever. (I have a claymore that one shots the 1st 3 bosses, the 4th boss has a damage cap so you can't 1 shot it, and the final boss takes 3 hits) It's incredibly short, which, isn't an issue for myself but to some people, it might be. It took me 2 days to get Platinum, and I didn't try super hard. Other than that, I think it's pretty good. Of course it's not some triple A title that's $60, so it's not gonna be the best game ever made, but if you're looking for a fun, short indie game this is exactly that. Tl;dr Fun game that has minor flaws, but it's an indie so.. It's expected.
