A diamond in the rough of a song. Created in the midst of the world collapsing in 2020 in a small basement studio in Berlin called The Famous Gold Watch.
James and his crew of misfits and musicians created a song about the eternal waves caused by generational trauma, the push and pull that the tide of life and death creates and the nurturing purity that family and community has on our souls.
Listen and enjoy this hypnotic tale influenced by the sea, watching Spaghetti Westerns on TV in the 90s with my father and the desire to roam free in the world.
