I Found Free Fruit Trees on Streets in Morocco - EP-12

I found an interesting story in Morocco which I'm going to share with you. I found that free fruit hanging on trees in Marrakech city of Morocco on the streets. Anyone can just pick up the oranges and eat them.

Great vlog as always. The orange or other citrus trees I have seen lined on pavements throughout the Mediterranean and North Africa. They look amazing lined up in the streets.
The fruit is very different from the ones found in supermarkets. The orange is usually alot more bitter/sour in taste. The skin of the fruit is alot thicker and the pulp much more fibrous. They are usually used in Jams or marmalade, so need to be cooked! In Spain they normally use Sevillian Oranges which are used in jam and marmalade.
You're right the municipality normally own the trees and people have to respect that it's for ornamental reasons and for everyone to enjoy. Being the respectful gentleman you are of course you didn't take one but if temptation got the better of you than I'm convinced you would have found very sour!!
