I have an original Super Pac-Man and an original Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga (Class of 81) with 25" CRT, both full size dedicated uprights. I even keep it on quarters. I bought Super Pac-Man 12 years ago for $999, it's now worth minimum $2500. I just bought Class of '81 for $1000 during COVID, he needed $, I can get $3k for it, but I'll never sell, I love my classics. If you're looking for a classic move fast, CRT's getting hard to find, collectors don't want LCD's.

My MAME system is on an early 2000s 32 bit Windows Vista home PC (yes, I know it's junk but it was free and I managed to get it to work with my limited skills.) I have a SlikStik Classic 2 player arcade console with 2 eight way joysticks, 1 four way joystick, 1 tornado spinner and a large LED illuminated trackball with 24 buttons, projected onto 120" projector screen on my basement wall and a 250 watt sound system...
i wanna buy an In The Groove 2 cabinet, but i just can't find one, not even a DDR or Dancing Stage that i can convert with OpenITG...
My local arcade has one but it's not willing to sell it...

That's a great machine. Well worth keeping that. They come up in the US for about $1,000 but never in great condition if they have been used commercially. Home use only models rarely come up so I'm not sure what they would sell for - may be around $2k?

Pac-Man is a great game that we've had a lot of fun with in the past as well. All arcade machines will plug into a wall socket that you would normally find anywhere, even at home.
Whilst many enjoy playing Pac-Man on the original machine, you can find the game in all kinds of places nowadays, even on Google! Have fun playing!

Hello, wondering what is the cheapest arcade machine that plays old game/s (the pacman, 60 games in one, etc.)

The ArcadePro Invader 60 is our entry level machine, and can be bought in the cocktail configuration in white for £949.
Now I can see how curved screens would do well without having to use multiple monitors to extend the viewing angle. :)

Do you know where I could purchase one in the U.S? I've been looking for a Mortal kombat or Tekken machine but they are basically extinct and I'd love the 18 wheeler trucker game but I could never find one, I had to go to Las Vegas to just look at one but unfortunately was not for sale, do you know where I could buy a fighting cabinet or racing? ignacio barajas If you are not looking for an original for collectors value, you would be better off building or buying a custom mame cabinet. You could play all of those games on one machine and still get the feel of an arcade.

I'm personally building my own 4 person arcade cabinet with a fully built gaming pc in it and a 4k monitor in it just buying my own shell for it with a vinyl and putting in everything from the buttons to the speakers haha

None of them utilize proper CRT emulation. The games don't look right without it.
Agreed I have a company that does mine switched to led for my pinball machines and I just got new TV's for a deal got 7 for under 400
If they had lcd screens back then, trust they would have used them.

It does depend on the machine. If an arcade machine is using the original hardware (like using the original arcade boards) then it's fine for use. The multi-game cabinets are intended for home use only.

Ha hA on the ICade 60 Board you mention Sound and show Scramble on that Board that has the worst Sound, its badly reproduced. Could have showed any other and they would have sounded great

Good question! These multigame cabs are designed for home players, so they are all set to freeplay. If someone in France wants to order a coin operated machine we can have it set to take Euros. Hope this helps.

No, seriously. They cannot include roms on something being sold as a legal product. Companies like this get shut down all the time, especially if they get too loud about including Nintendo games. Does anyone care? Maybe not... is it legal? no, and this comes with some implications when buying a multi-thousand dollar arcade unit that you have expectations of.
Not if you sell it. It is illegal in most cases even if you make it yourself, but it's "legally actionable" if you are selling it. I think a lot of companies both in and outside of the USA just dont get caught because they are small enough and the law has yet to caught up.
There is a large grey market area for depreciated ROMs that most of the world has just looked the other way on. Sometimes it's for videogame preservation. Sometimes it's because many of us are too cheap to use proper channels. No one is going to kick in your door, smash your self-made machine, and haul you off to jail. No worries.

***** Ya I bought it last year non working. 250 canadian dollars. Poped some new fuses in it and adjusted the voltages and it fired up. Some of the sounds are not working tho. But just need to order the lm 3900 chips to replace the bad ones. Its kinda funny the machine in this video is missing the coin compartment door. Mine is missing the same part.

I have an original ms pacman and there are two speeds you can get with changing a chip there is fast and slow. the original ms pacman shipped with the slow chip and you could update it with the fast chip.
