Strange, I also have the mk3, but on my own copy, there doesn't seem to be any threading in the side holes, where the hard stop screws are supposed to be stored.
As a side note, if you don't use the hard stops but don't want the metal discs sliding by themselves and making noise, you can use headless grub screws (M3 threading if I recall correctly)

Hey, nice review, and good, close images of the follow focus. Are you still using it? If so, how's it holding up? Thanks.

Hey thanks! That's somethine that sometimes lacks in other reviews: close-ups! It's nice to be able to see details and how the stuff works, before purchasing it. That's why we made attention to this in our reviews!
That being said, I'm still using it. It's still performs quite well. The only thing, maybe, is when it's compared to other more expensive FF (like the SHAPE pro), it's not as sturdy on the rails. The gearbox is pretty stiff and doesn't have any backlash. But the quick connect on the rails makes it moving a tiny bit, something that's not present on other more expensive model.
But other than this, for the price, to get a zero-backlash FF...pretty impressive and really hard to beat in my opinion. Still have it, travel in a case and works like a charm every single time!

I have one but as I’ve used it the hand wheel has developed some play and is a little loose. Any ideas on how to fix it ?

All good points. The gears are the thing. No play.

The gearbox is really the key here. You can't really go wrong with the gears actually. I'm still using flexible follow focus gears on my lenses and there's no difference with the blue ones that I've used previously. A good gearbox is the key.
      Meanwhile, the flexible ones: th-cam.com/video/sogYYHTiQDs/w-d-xo.html

Thanks for the input! We'll try to add more footage of the items "in-use" for the upcoming videos!

I just got one, and the big flat blue screw holding in the gear is so tight I can’t undo it with my fingers. I want to try a different size gear on it... hmm... hope I don’t break it trying to crank that screw out of there.

Never mind, just needed a little more determination, a slightly improved angle of attack/grip, and... shaving a little flesh off my finger and thumb! (Ha, nah, wasn’t too terrible, but any tighter and I couldn’t have loosened it without blood! Lol)
