I don't love the clay neopets either, but I haven't been able to stop thinking about the absolute missed opportunity that was releasing the clay Chia and not even giving it Chia Pet hair. I don't even like Chias, but I think it would have been so funny

7:11 Ok hear me out: I love the cloud paint brush, but I wish the designers went farther with the design. Fluffy cloud Gnorbu? Fantastic! Beautiful! Couldn't agree more! I wish that the same level of floof was able to reach more Neopets. Imagine: Kougras fur as poofy as a cloud. Kaus looked like Highland Cattle but with soft puffs of hair covering their eyes. That's what I'd like from my cloud colored Neopets. Floof.

I'm a 31 year old father of 3 and this video showed up on my page, I remember playing neopets back when maraqua was released and reading through the comic, praying one day I would be able to look down that random hole and find a maraquan paintbrush, no joy though, cool to see people are still enjoying this game! I wonder if I could recover my old account. I always loved collecting avatars haha
i have an older account (around 17 years) and i've never yet had a baby brush
i DO however own a baby buzz, i got him during the faerie festival and i love him so dearly and truly ;w;

i dont know much abt the faerie lore in neopets but my first impressions of that tarot deck is that it is definitely not a “faerie friend” deck that is clearly a “faerie enemies to fwb to lovers romeo and juliet sapphic au w angst temporary mc death/injury sacrifice hurt comfort n mutual pining n to top it all off there is only one bed” 😭

theres def pets i only like in some colors. candy meerca, toy poogle. On the other hand, origami is one of those ones where i feel like it works best on krawk, bc it kinda gives them a color/texture of an actual crocodile. otherwise not a fan of the color that much. glow i could only make work on a koi customized to be like the fish the one shark brought to the meeting in finding nemo. but even then i was over it in like 3 days lol

As someone who has one of their pets painted Fire, a couple of them look good imo, mainly went with Fire over Magma on that pet because I thought Fire looked better with her planned custom than Magma did, and I sorta gave up trying to find my magma time lmao
I’ll be real I hate the checkerboard paintbrush now, but my child self would lay down everything for that. Checkerboard had a chokehold on my childhood.
This might be way too much work, but I’d love to see your top 3 neopets for each paintbrush (or your top 3 paintbrushes for each neopet? Either way!)
I actually agree with most of your opinion. My favorite paintbrushes are grey, toy and maraquan. I am also a big fan of mutant pets :)
