Is that what you called Liberia’s richest neighborhood? All I see are pot holes, dirty streets and barb wired fence that looked like military bases.

Rebecca and Kid Boss maybe you don't know but we had a War from the 80s until 2002-2004...what he is talking about is before the war when things were destroyed so this was a hot street in the early 80s andback , but we're making progress..it will be slow but what he didn't tell was the new mall in the video that says TTM MALL which was my house before the war and my sister sold it so the mall could be built..We can't help what happened in the pass but so many things has been tore down and improved...Alot of us was force to the US because the war and many of us have come back and doing great projects...One thing u may not know is the narrator of this video is a motorbike taxi we can PINPIN and he is only showing u what he knows ,his point of view...He didn't explain the new high rise mall he just drove pass, he's not focus on whats been done since the war he is just driving and being a pinpin driver...i love the videos...Now, if u wanna see the new stuff the improvements this is the wrong channel check out Royda Urey's channel..She grow up in the States like myself and she's focus on what being built not the pass...I think its the greatest of time for us because we get a do over...we were once a top city in west Africa before the war so we'll be back...i like the opportunity we're faced with because the best things come out of stressful times...We're coming back..sorry if its not at the pace u like...Great video my man...i love my old street..

Why do you assume she doesn't know the history? The war started in 1990 unless you want to include that one week in 1989. It is now 2020. When are we going to stop making excuses and start doing something? The government obviously can't do everything mostly because it is inept and corrupt. What can the individual citizen and communities do to improve their situation? At the very least cleaning up trash and improving the aesthetics of the city can be done. you don't need a whole lot of money for that.

The island is in the process of redevelopment, it’s a slow process, but this beautiful island is indeed a island of resilience so I know it will succeed eventually, I mean it survived two horrifying civil wars and yet it’s still standing stronger. It has come a long way, there have been a lots of progress as well, they just don’t seem to give much credit the government officials. We all know it going to take times to bring this beautiful island back to life again, but come on you guys need to give your government officials some credit because there have been a lots of changes made so far and yet your still bad talk about your government officials. Just typical Africans people. Remember nothing in life happens overnight if that was the case we all will be and have all we wants and need in our individuals lives!

Liberians should be trying to give back to their homeland. The old saying states thst you curse where are going not where you are from. Establish wealth within your own country. It desperately needs you. I see opportunity here. My only concern is whether or not its easy for militants to take over once people develop it?

By they way, all I see, is a place that looks like an abandoned gladiators `town savaged by elephants, lions and hyenas. What a place. Thank you young man for job well done. My venting is not attending for you. Just disgusted with that unprogressive place called Liberia.

Sometimes it’s better to keep quiet, if you think Liberia is the least developed country in Africa or west Africa or even the world then start your travel right now and compare instead of sitting in your corner talking about what you know. There are many countries that have never gone at war that Liberia is better than, no true Liberian is proud of the current status of development in the country but we should be proud of our country no matter what. We all want a better and developed Liberia and still hope for improvements on what we currently have. Stop bad mouthing your country every time because some of you are half Liberians or do not like the current regime. Travel my friend not just from Roberts field to JFK and you think you’ve traveled the world 😀. No bad feeling just saying.

I'm very confused why people want to down this country so bad. You will always hear them bringing up how old the country is. What was stopping them from having a country back then? Liberians must have hurt a lot of feelings out there because we're not even known as sc@mmers or troublemakers on any big scale so the hate is confusing.
