Fun fact: sleep talking can occur both from conscious processes (right before actually waking up or during light/superficial sleep) and deep processes (subconscious, during deep sleep). Wonder which of these two it was.

My brother did a lot of sleep walking and talking in his sleep. He still talks in his sleep. Normally he says job related things like “I need another 2 by 4” or “bring me a drill”. As for sleep walking, he said he woke up outside one night sitting in a rocking chair on the porch in the dark. Worst I can remember though was when he had a friend over one night. He took my cover from me and was screaming at me that I had took his cover, despite the fact that he was laying on his cover. I was confused and terrified, crying at like 3am and his friend just lay there completely dumb struck and just as terrified. He has no recollection of it other than what we told him.
