Ok now I actually tell the difference in his voice here being more smoother and less grittier and maybe slightly sounding more closer to his American Idiot era vocals.
Billie's voice in Warning and American Idiot are pretty much the same . It's just that he used radio filter effects in American Idiot rather than Warning .
this is exactly how the song should have sounded, holy hell. billie's voice is about the same but the instrumental is mixed SO much better. no clean guitar and bass overpowering the distorted ones. perfectly balanced. as all things should be.
This sounds so much better than the original mix. Wonderful work. That being, whatever guitars/ mixing the band used to record the trilogy… I, too, would want to smash them iHeart radio style. Goodness they were so flaccid.
Billie actually posted the unedited photo on Instagram shortly after the Trilogy came out. I don't think Mike and Tre's unedited photos are anywhere online though...
Awesome! One minor detail for cover art could be "venti Uno" in lieu of 21st and "venti' being Spanish for 20.... But loving the cover art interpretations as well!
