- In this video I show you guys around Madrid Spain. The Gran Via, the Mercado De San Miguel, Botanical Garden, the Crystal Palace and the general feel for the art scene around Madrid. Overall I like the city and do think it is underrated. It is clean, efficient and friendly. Plenty of tapas and beer for everyone!

Madrid received close to 8 million foreign tourists in 2019 and receives by far more national tourists than any other city.
I do agree it's still under rated and should be on par with Paris and London.
I prefer it stay that way.
Look at what's happened with Barcelona.
A city I used to live has become a total theme park.
Hopefully Madrid stays the way it is.

Madrid is, by far, the most visited city in Spain by Spaniards and the 2nd most visited by foreigners, after Barcelona (which has become a theme park for tourists).
