some things to note with the thermometer: the thermometer uses a lazer to read temperatures of surfaces. the ghost room will have a cold reading on all 4 walls, the ceiling, doors, windows, furniture and the floor. the reading works from both inside and outside. walking into a room and aiming the thermometer at a wall can cause people to misread the temperature to be for the room that theyre in when its actually the next room over. when checking the temperature in a room its best to aim the thermometer towards the floor or furniture in order to get an accurate reading for the room youre in.

I've been playing phasmo for a little longer, but whenever I play alone I almost never find the ghost room and even if I've often used the termometer. Maybe I can use the termometer better now and, among other things, the EMF reader. Besides, I didn't know that the ghost patrols the house 4:06 The end xDD
EDIT: For anyone like me who was wondering why this is no longer an up-to-date guide here are the patch notes as they relate to the thermometer: Lowered the rate the Thermometer updates it’s temperature from 1 second to 2 seconds. Slightly increased the temperatures variations that show on the Thermometer. All rooms will now start with slightly different temperatures. If the power is off, the temperature in every room will now slowly drop to 5C/41F. If the power is on, the temperature in every room will slowly raise unless the ghost is in the room where it will still drop. Professional Difficulty: Due to the power starting off, the room temperatures will start at 5C/41F. Each room will now change their temperature at slightly different speeds. Lowered the speed that temperature raises in rooms once the power is on. Lowered the speed that the ghost lowers the temperature in the room it’s in. Freezing temperature ghosts will now reduce the room temperature at the same speed as other ghosts. This means that when the power is off, all rooms including the ghost room will drop at a similar speed.

What I struggle the most is when is a "hallway ghost" like literally it's tough when it is a hallway ghost in a big map

Parabolics are really useful for looking down into basements without going into it
Lord knows my friends and I would like to avoid going into rooms if we can, we’re too easily spooked lmao

I hate to play on large maps, that's because the characters walk too slow
half the games ive played solo i swear there's no ghost
If I spread the 4 sound sensors in school like in here, will they cover also the 2nd floors if I place them all in the 1st floor??
Unfortunately not, they only work on the floor you place them.
